Greetings Miri,
Glad to hear you’re sleeping better. Still may be helpful to reconsider the efficacy of the early morning drink for auntie. Regarding the aches, you don’t necessarily have to associate an achy body with age. Their are certain things that can increase inflammation in the body, and thereby lead to aches and pains. Some of these inflammation-causing things include, sitting to often, eating processed food, high fat food, sugary food and beverages, stress. These are just a few lifestyle things that can be troubling. Also, warm Epsom salt baths can help greatly with aches. Be sure to rinse off afterwards. All the best.

She had COPD and is on oxygen 24\7. It means she produces more
gunk than usual and a hot drink helps to break it up.

I went pretty much caffeine free a few years ago.

I have to take care of my 90 year old mom and have to give her blood pressure meds every 8 hours.... its hard sometimes to go back to sleep so I get my Bible out and read it until I get sleepy, great time to spend quiet time with God. sometimes times like that are blessings.

I tried melantonin( spelled wrong) and it hurt behind my eyeballs, so I quit. bible reading was better, or just close your eyes you will eventually go back to sleep....put warm covers on you as well, that always makes the body calm.
