Hádés is a place were dead ones live. Its not a place where physical dead bodies are (ocean, ground, tombs etc.)

Hades is also referred to a death rider on a horse.

You actually believe that God and the Hebrew/Jews do not mention a devil's hell in the Old Testament, that suddenly because it was added by the Catholics it actually exists.

You are GULLIBLE!!

Let me just say this about all you lovely followers of Christ. Since I started participating in this site, I have learned a great deal. I have been digging in the word more due to many of these delved into discussions. Also, l am learning different perspectives and why ppl have them. I have had to take a closer look at some of my intentions and my mindsets. Sometimes, I relearn how I don't want to be, lol. In other words, regardless if I completely agree or disagree with any of you, my faith has grown. I do know still, though, that I have sooooo much too learn. Holy moly, so much, but I am eager to keep on keeping on. Why am I rambling words of encouragement to all of you who might read this? I guess I want to give God all the Glory, actually, because it is abundantly clear He is alive and well in your lives and through you, He is helping others draw nearer to Himself. I'm not puffing u all up, just drinking some coffee this morning, reading the responses here and on other threads, and it started me thinking....thank You, Lord, for bringing me and others to this online Christ-centered platform. Not always, but often if we use it wisely, it is an edifying place to go. Ok, enough of this. I have more learning to do. Take care brothers and sisters, and God Bless you and yours.

Jesus was created by the Father's begetting OF Himself, to be born of a virgin!
And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages,
God from God,
Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made;

The Nicene Creed

I do not believe there were some evil catholics with the power to change Scriptures in the whole world, in the first or second century, sorry...

And you need to study OLD ENGLISH and what OLD ENGLISH means!!
The KJV is written in OLD ENGLISH which is from 3rd person view.
Now read let us make man in the 3rd person view as it was written.
I am quoting the hebrew interlinear.
You can take a look for yourself.

How they believed does not make them evil. But to add a devil's hell to scripture when God has the entire Old Testament to explain this but is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND...means they changed scripture for their personal beliefs.

And if you choose to believe what the Catholics added, then become a Catholic!!

I always use the Hebrew. Did you know in Hebrew the word Elohim means ONE/SINGULAR?

But English and American preachers thought the Hebrews were morons and changed it to be plural!!

IDIOTS who got suckered by the Catholic dogma!!

To wrap it all up, we've discovered that the meaning of Elohim in Hebrew is "one who is strong and has authority," and that the word is sometimes used to refer to God, and other times it refers to humans.

If believing that hell or Trinity was not invented by Catholics makes me a Catholic, then I am a Catholic. Or Eastern Orthodox. Or whatever you wish.

Well you should convert then!!

How did the Book of Isaiah (written in Aramaic and Hebrew) end up with a LATIN word (when Latin was not used in the time of Isaiah)?
Lucifer is an ADD ON to scripture and it is LATIN.
Now, who spoke LATIN?
The ROMAN CATHOLICS!!

Correct. Since we all need to present Christ to others, it is far better to call Him by the name which the whole world knows. Even Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhists know about "Jesus Christ". "Jesus" is from the Greek Ἰησοῦς = Iesous, which of course was originally Yeshua.
I beleive most know him by Jesus.

Yesuah being more proper, but it gets too tedious to think there is a major roadblock either way.

Just go around describing Japan in its proper frame....nippon.

They will ask what you mean and you will be forced to say...." Japan"

Yesuah works well with certain circles. Jesus in all...well most all

I have to confess, when you first started saying something, I was very resistant to your input. You see, just recently I have been studying the old testament more. I have learned of Yud Heh Vav Heh and many other names of God, as well as the names of our Messiah. I have enjoyed learning them, as they have helped me to also learn Their attributes as well as help me to better rightly interpret some things, as well as see patterns used and what not. I have been trying to understand why their is so much division between a Messianic Jews and the Saved Gentiles; after all, we should all be on the same page, Christ's page. My end goal in my studies is finding harmony within all the scriptures. Until I do and probably after, I know my understanding demonstates my limited understanding. I enjoy using the name Yeshua, and asked some ppl in the chat room their opinions because it does seem to be a source of contention for many. I didn't understand that. With all that said, u made a valid point. My entire reason for talking about Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, is to point to His Authority, His Truth, His Way and His Life. If it all gets lost in the translation because folks have no idea who this Yeshua is, then it might confuse ppl and point them away from Him. I will definitely still be using the original hebrew names, because they touch my heart for some reason. But I will not feel so reluctant to using Jesus or Christ as though they are not accurate. Thank you Nehamiah for your time and for your input. God Bless you and yours...:)

The western roman empire spoke Latin. Not just catholics. Even you use Latin letters in English, because the western roman empire got to England.

I do not have any "Lucifer" word in Isaiah, because I do not use the KJV.

LATIN was not used by ANYONE till almost 1,500 years after Isaiah died...

So, if Latin was not even a language yet, HOW DID IT GET INTO ISAIAH which is of the OLD TESTAMENT?

Seems the "Nicenes" (whoever they are), are in conflict with John's gospel! Just more traditions of man, that erode away at the faith! :(

Latin was used by the Roman Empire in the West, i.e. by the whole Western Europe, Northern Africa etc.

I do not care how it got into the KJV, probably from Vulgate. I do not have it in my Isaiah.

The prophet Isaiah lived in the eighth and early seventh centuries BC. He was from Jerusalem and began his ministry in 740 BC, the year of King Uzziah’s death.

The golden age of Latin literature is a period consisting roughly of the time from 75 BC to AD 14, covering the end of the Roman Republic and the reign of Augustus Caesar.

Tell me how did the LATIN word LUCIFER get into Isaiah's writings when Isiah lived before Latin was actually used?

Hahaha...didn't I just do that?
To be sure though. This forum? I cannot praise enough! Coming from someone who has been many many places on the "web", only to be kicked out, or ignored? That's saying quite a bit! Even the subscribing is "free will!" :)

And, ya can't beat that with any kind of a stick! Schtick? Perhaps! Stick? No Way! :p
