Not hardly......and your conclusion lacks truth......it is obvious that you did not read a word I said in numerous posts, because I did not say what you imply nor do I believe that garbage....
Since when are you the source for truth?

I recently was asked if I was glad that Osama BL was in hell. I said no......or anyone else as far as that goes, including Hitler. Praying all the while that they and their type receive a great measure of G-d's wrath. But, we know there are many who will spend eternity in a state of damnation.....the Bible says so.
It is G-d's plan and best we concentrate on His plan for us Christians to spend eternity in Heaven.
osama and hitler are good examples of who deserves hell. osama was a bad guy but in his mind he did the things he did for a good cause, none the less his acts were wrong and destroyed many lives. he should be punished in the next life, punished for eternity IMO would be to much.
hitler IMO is diffeent, where as osama went after mankind, hitler went against the Most High. he was into dark occult and targeted a group the Almighty called His own. he may get sent down with the rebelling angels.

Are you claiming the early elders were not Godly men passing on the truth of God and Jesus? It makes a huge difference what the creeds say. Demonstrate where in any of them where they are not Biblical. I posted the Apostles Creed. Start there and demonstrate where it is non Biblical. Today each gospel preaching church and denomination has a document stating what their beliefs are and are consistent with the Bible. Same issue. Do you reject your churches doctrinal statement about the Biblical beliefs it holds fast to?

I get very tired of those like you who just out of hand reject them for absolutely no logical reason about what they say. Refute them or shut up about them.
James, Peter and John were elders, their authority came from Jesus.
where did these roman elders get their authority?
i have plenty of reasons to be skeptical of these guys. Jesus sent a spirit of truth, when these councils step in and decide they are the ones that determine the truth, thats when i have no use for them. when you disagree with these decisions determined by the councils you could be imprisoned, have your home taken or put to death. Jesus and the 12 never did this.

Just because judgement comes after death does not mean it lasts forever. The bible states that anyone that calls upon Jesus will be saved (Romans 10:13).
Watch the free online video about 20 minutes called '23 Minutes in Hell' by Bill Weise. Weise is a married conservative Cristian guy who was taken to hell by the Lord and he gives Scriptures for everything he saw.

Anyone born in Adam's race is born into sin. We are sinners at birth. At conception even.
Well then we disagree..

Romans 7: KJV
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

Yes, that's how it turned out.
But I am asking about all the other Cornelius' out there that never hear the gospel?
The ones that "fear" God and are devout.

And what about the Faith chapter hall of fame? (Heb.11) How many are "Christians"? (none)
It is irrelevant when someone hears the Gospel.. One must accept the Gospel to be saved.. If anyone rejects the Gospel they are destined to be damned.. There is no other Way for a person to be saved..

i didnt see this.

universalism - everyone goes to heaven. yes i would be for that. why, because the idea of anyone burning in agony forever and ever hurts my heart.
so im guessing you are against such an idea. so this would mean you are all for people suffering? this seems really strange to me.
It matters not one jot what people want to happen.. You do not base your doctrines on your personal desires of what you wish to happen.. What matters is what God has revealed.. That's what is going to happen..

Now no one should desire that any fellow human being should be in torment forever in the eternal lake of fire we should want all people repent and be saved, just as God does not wish anyone to burn..

2 Peter 3: KJV

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

BUT the fact remains many people will not come to repentance and they will be cast into the eternal Lake of fire where they will be in torment forever and ever..

Revelation 20: KJV
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

People should never build their doctrines on their thoughts and feelings but on the Word of God..

Proverbs 16: KJV
25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Some people just happen to know better than God.

But they deny Christ's deity, yet claim they still are followers of Christ.

No, they're not, they got religion and phrases that sound Christian.

Any person, and I don't care who they are, that denies the deity of Christ is not Christian, is not converted.

They must believe Jesus' testimony of himself, "unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins" John 8:24 and they do not believe this. They can argue all they want, Christ is quite clear here, the warning solemn.

100% agree............most translations leave off the definite article when dealing with Jesus........and because of this we see any fakes and fraudulent Jesus'

If there ever was fatalism. It would be universalism.

NOTHING matters. No repentance, no faith, no baptism, no communion, no fellowship of the saints, no charity, no love, no confession, no church attendance, no prayer.
Its all pointless, everyone will be saved anyway.

It's saddening around here lately. We have those who attack and even mock the Scriptures authority, deny the Trinity, deny the Deity of Christ, attack the character of God, preach Universalism, preach works salvation.

To top that off then we have some telling us to gather ourselves together and have unity when such teachings are being opposed.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!????? Are people out of their minds with this stuff???????? Unity????????????????????????????????????????????? Please!

Unity isn't compromise, it isn't manufactured! It is there, it exists, and it is only had when centered on truth, not compromise, not in accepting error and setting aside truth for warm fuzzies, "positivity" and "love"! We are to guard and keep the unity, not produce it; Ephesians 4:3-6! This is what Paul warned about, not enduring sound doctrine; 2 Timothy 4:3-5.

Very disappointed around here with what is allowed.

Well then we disagree..

Romans 7: KJV
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
That has nothing to do with the sinful state in which we were born.
Anyone born in Adam's race is born into sin.

Besides, the verse you quoted says that "sin revived". Which means it was inherent.
Sin didn't show up, it was woken up.

Do you expect to see the Patriarchs in heaven?
If so, explain how they got there based on your view.
Did they "accept the Gospel" before they died?

This idea that those in the O.T. did not have the gospel is ignorant........and reeks of a lack of biblical knowledge.....

a. God shed blood and covered Adam and Eve's shame
b. God promises a redeemer in Genesis 3:15
c. Abel offered blood in faith
d. Seth calls on the Lord
e. Job knew of and understood the resurrection and his REDEEMER
f. Abraham was JUSTIFIED by FAITH without the deeds/works of the law
g. David speaks of the JOY of his SALVATION in a present tense
h. Isaiah gives the 53rd chapter of the suffering messiah and being bruised for our iniquities and healed by his stripes
k. Moses lifts the Brazen serpent <--Jesus places it as a type in John 3:16
l. The institution of the pass over and GOD seeing the blood and passing over
m. The sacrificial system under the LAW
n. The HIGH priest making intercession
o. The Kinsmen redeemer in Ruth
p. etc.

AND on top of that......BOTH JESUS and ABRAHAM testify to the PSALMS, LAW and PROPHETS and the ability to FIND CHRIST in them and BE SAVED..........

SEARCH the scriptures for they are they which TESTIFY OF ME!

As I understand it, the Councils fulfilled a genuine need in the church.
There was no systematic theology back then. They needed to set a standard. And that standard was biblically based.

In fact, there was no New Testament until they compiled and canonized it. We owe them a debt of gratitude rather than derision. You should thank them for the Bible they gave you next time you open it.

@dcontroversal and @preacher4truth are happy to give me a Thumbs-Down vote on this.

Does that mean they ARE the source of truth?
Or, what do they mean to say? While they hide behind their Thumbs-Down votes.
WHY not give the context and why I said what I said....because YOU attributed verbiage to me that I never said nor implied.....
