All The Rest Will Be Given Unto You,

The basics of Jesus' world is that we have the most
fundamental simplicity in life. When He talks about
love and freedom and salvation, He is telling us to
stop; take it easy and cherish the love of God. upon
first glance that's pretty simple so where does life's
complication start. Why do we turn a utopian view of
life into a dystopian view of life. It must lie somewhere
in the realm of lack of faith, lack of understanding and
all other things that try to pull us away and distract us
from clinging to God and we replace that with ego.
Once we start living with ego our faith in Him is replaced.
We are no longer accepting Him as little children. Our
pride doesn't allow us to do that. At that point, life takes
the wrong direction and Christ is no longer the head of
all things holy in our lives and struggles begin. Simple
life is simply good but are we willing.

Thank you for your threads. They are very deep. To me this means is, that the bible says the Kingdom of God is within us. God's Throne room we go to in prayer, Jesus at the right hand of God, and John 17 says, " That Jesus prayes and askes the FAhter that we would be one with him. When Christ was in the Temple, he said to the Scribes, he would raise a temple up in 3 days. I believe that when we prayer, we are entering that Temple of the HOly Spirit, and that Temple is within us, Jesus himself. "Know ye not that your body is the Temple of the HOly Spirit, that dwells within you." My closest times were in prayer, one on one. This is a spiritual attitude, "For those who worship me must worship me in spirit and in truth. "

I agree with you, the growth of our spiritual life is directly
related to a rigid prayer life. It is prayer that brings us to a new
creation that Paul describes. It is a surrender to God and He
becomes in us and we are in Him. Once we arrive at that place,
we never come back to a life in the flesh. It is such a beautiful
world when we are in God.
