Can anybody out there praise the Lord with me? It seems we're living in a time in which people don't want to praise the Lord anymore. But no matter how crazy things get on this earth, I will never lose my desire to praise God, because He has brought me through so much! Thank-you God, for all that you have done for us. Thank-you, Jesus, for the precious price you paid on the cross. Thank-you, Holy Spirit, for being our comforter and guide. I love you so much, God. Even when I don't understand what You are doing, I put my trust in you, knowing that somehow, you will work things out. Thank-you for loving us and taking care of us. HALLELUJIAH!!! LET'S KEEP THE PRAISE GOING!! :D

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

A song from a Psalm, I have posted before, but we do praise God always ...

Bless the Lord
O my soul and all that is within me
Bless His Holy Name.

He is full of compassion and mercy
He will not always be chiding.
He will ever show His mercy, and loving kindness
To all, to all who think on His commandments to Do them.

Yea bless the Lord, the Lord, my sould.

Agreed! I thank God for everything. It has been the hardest year of my life, and...I thought I would lose my faith, but instead, I have never felt closer to God, never loved Him like this...never felt His love for me like this...through everything, He is there.

My favorite verses come to mind...

"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."' Numbers 6:24-26

It is a wonderful parctice to thank God for everything, even what may appear to be bad...there is a purpose and lesson in all......many times we may have to wait years even decades to know the reasoning, and just as many times some are kept a mystery possibly to be revealed come the Kingdom if need be.

Praise god, His mercy endures forever, amen.

Well, sure, sometimes it takes a long time to know the reasoning, but really, we shouldn't care about it. We should know that God loves us and that all will be made right in the end. Of course, easier said than done...

Praise Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind! :)

The strength and love of thanking Him for everything, bad seemingly or good, is the fact that we thank Him in faith that all is well in His will, not ours. As for understanding, I have never thought it was necessary. No child of God is overly concerned with being always in on what God's will is, but we are all expected to pray it be done....I know He is returning soon, but beforehand there is tribulation.

He is returning soon, and oh boy, that tribulation...well...

"For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated by all nations for My name’s sake." Matthew 24:7-9

Earthquakes in diverse places began with the advent of nuclear technology. The first seal was broken with the Beginning of Sorrows. Likely the second seal has been broken already and we are awaiting the third. Christ is returning soon...and He will be arriving with a sword of vengeance...

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation!
All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near;
Praise Him in glad adoration.

Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth
Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth!
Hast thou not seen how thy desires e’er have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?

Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee;
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
If with His love He befriend thee.

Praise to the Lord, who, when tempests their warfare are waging,
Who, when the elements madly around thee are raging,
Biddeth them cease, turneth their fury to peace,
Whirlwinds and waters assuaging.

Praise to the Lord, who, when darkness of sin is abounding,
Who, when the godless do triumph, all virtue confounding,
Sheddeth His light, chaseth the horrors of night,
Saints with His mercy surrounding.

Praise to the Lord, oh, let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him;
Let the Amen sound from His people again,
Gladly for aye we adore Him.

A song of praise for the day.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son,
the much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His Life'...
AMEN!!!
