Well i worked at a dry cleaners on and off for 18 years.I was laid off for three years before i was hired back.I worked the front counter as a cashier ,i assembled the orders, and tagged the clothes when they came in.I have a high school education.I quit the cleaners because they complained that I was too slow.Never mind that I had to seperate the clothes from 3 different cleaners and only have 4 hours to do it in.Plus my grandma had just had her stroke so I had that to deal with as well. The last straw was when they gave me a day off to audition my replacement ,knowing full well everything I was dealing with.(When my grandma had her stroke it was there at the cleaners so they all knew).Needless to say the writing was on the wall amd so i left.As for going back ,that bridge is burned .As for my life being interesting ,I guess you could say it is.I'm grateful to God that He got me through those times I posted about. My uncle and his girlfriend moved out ,and by God's grace we didn't have to sell the house either.I still miss my Grandma, but it doesn't hurt as bad as it did at first.

Hmmmm...well you told me some about where you've worked but nothing about your skills. What do you enjoy, in a useful sense? What are you good at?

Ok, how good at organizing are you? Do you have an example of something that would be difficult for someone else to organize but that you effectively handled?

Well working at the cleaners i was required to keep the orders organized. All the tickets had to match and the garments had to be what was listed on the ticket .occasionally there were pieces that didn't come out and i would have to find them.Keep in mind we were cleaning not just our store but two other stores that contracted with us to clean their clothes.

Hmmm, well, if you haven't found work by January, contact me and I'll have something you can do online. Likely handling dispatching assignments to writers and inputting some data.

Otherwise, I would recommend you check out craigslist for local jobs and your local newspaper. You can get quick gigs and/or a steady job. And, be creative when looking for work. Don't just look for work at a dry cleaner, try a mechanic shop, a grocer, a deli, a farm worker etc. You'd be surprised the jobs you can do and how much you might enjoy them.

And, I'm serious about the job offer. So, let me know and happy hunting!

I’m praying that God will open doors for you to find a good job, give you guidance and provide for all your needs as you trust in Him. Grace and peace to you, friend.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
