Yeshua is not much more than an accent howev er I do have my own resons which satisfy me for Yeshua.

Joshuea, son of Nun is tranliterated as Yahoshua, which is an older version of Yeshua.

Many times you will read in the OT of King David and the Throne of David. David, Dahh veeed, actually may be translated as Beloved, His father was Jesse, Yeshi. Yeshi may be translated as my Redeemer.

Let'is continue a moment. If you look at the transliterated name of Isaiah, it is Yeshi Yahoo…...Sometimes I suspect is also is a variation of Yeshua or Yahhoshua…….also people say Yahshua.

Actually it is the end of the name Yeshua which is Yahweh, Yeshi Yah……….Savior Yahweh or Reedemer of Yahweh…...you may throw in the of…..and this is why the angel said to mMay, yu shall name the child Yeshua for He shall save His people.

No one need repeat this name simply on my understanding, but I love to say Yeshua with the maning in mind, and when you consider the ÇAngel said He would save His people, what does that make us? Of coure you got it, His people, the Israel of Yahweh comprised of the oll, original flock of the Good Shepherd and the new Flock composed of save gentiels.

Baruch Yahwh, Yeshua, Jesus, God Elohanui, Adoneinu, Avinu HaKoen Gadol, and whatever other tile you know of His.

We actually do not hav ewhat is called a nem today for God, so we are limited to many true titles, but accordint to Zephania on Yahweh's Day He is going to return a puretongue to all nations so they may call on Him with one name (one accord). I believe I have heard the language on occasion, no sound no voice but clearly understood…..Praise God, amen.
Interesting I do not have clear the Yeh for the Yah. In another forum a person with the right background mentioned something of a vowel shift or something in that respect. I am not a linguist, so I do not really understand that. If God's name is in a way, you can shift all vowels you want, His name still is the original one:

Hallelujah: Praise Yah (short for Yahweh).

And I see Jah (ES equivalent to Yah) in many places in Psalms. I do not see Yeh.

 Jah png.png

But if the Apostles were ok with Jesus Christ, so am I.

I believe you are correct in this. The local church is supposed to be one Christian family, so either all should be invited or none.

It was wrong to have a semi-private celebration, and then foolishly post that on Facebook.
I learned long time ago that not all cases are black or white. Some times things are grey, and we have to look for the facts of the case to judge right.

If it was wrong, then the next is to set some sort of rules to prevent recurrence. Then the event would be a case for improvement, in the move of the congregation towards Christlikeness.

I was moved to go to Israel where I poked around and learned a little bit more about the name, Yahweh, and it is simply a good description of our Maker. It may be translated as Self-Existing, but this is only one way, another is I will be What I will be or Who I will be. or I am that I am.

All describe Him but none are truly hIS NAME BUT Do not say that to a Rabbi or a Chassid. Enjoy your quesst in the Lord, I am all blessings in Jesus..j Good night from here…...Buenas noches...

Does she know for sure that the church did not receive a donation for the facilities. It seems that would be typical for a private function. Like when someone wants a church wedding but are not members or can't get their church. That is what I did for my first marriage. It is a win, win.

I read an article that the description given to Moses was: "I manifest Myself (God) any way I want".

And yes, His name is another thing:

Zechariah 14:9 And Yahweh will be king over all the earth; on that day Yahweh will be one and his name one

Harris, W. H., III, Ritzema, E., Brannan, R., Mangum, D., Dunham, J., Reimer, J. A., & Wierenga, M. (Eds.). (2012). The Lexham English Bible (Zec 14:9). Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press.

And that name is Jesus Christ, and like you say, do not tell that to a Rabbi. LOL.

Aseity (self-existence) is very important.

The way we look at it: we are living stones part of the New Temple of God (Jesus), so as His body, we are part of that New Temple where the Spirit of God resides (Holy Spirit).

But being living stones part of a temple (body of Christ) does not make us the Sprit that dwells there.

So the only Being with self-existence is God, we all derive our immortal life from Him and is supported by His will. None of us will ever have self-existence, that is a noncommunicable attribute of God and is what makes Him worthy of worship by us creatures.

Who in your view is the Being described in Revelation 1: 12-18 ?

For me this is the best rendition. MY study took me to undertand that Yahweh is from the verb, haya, a gerund form of haya.

Hayan is the verb to be, but transitive, that is an active verb......... So the only One Who may use the gerund of that verb in Truth is the One Who Is….......Most people do not know what I say when I try to explain it, but that is just part of my cross to bear, and not much of a burdern. Now I will go to bed...again.

Awesome insight, thanks for sharing. Not 100% that I got exactly the minute details of it, but the rough implications I understand are excellent.

I sincerely pray you do and come back with your understanding. I like best now, the one you gave me.....I am that I am, or I will be what I will be............anythig like that. I believe He said this to Moses so that the Children of Israel would believe Moses, though to say that to people today probably would not have much impact on them, and this is a shame. God bless you, oh, if you were around some Sctotts old timers it would not be long before one of them would call you Ham, I have been called that.

You will be surprised, eventually something good will happen:

Habakkuk 2:14
14 gFor the earth will be filled
with the knowledge of hthe glory of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.

Ham, Hammy, Hambone, you name it I've heard it. Just missing Hamdude. LOL.
