There are so many times in this life that we are set upon with one trial or another, and they can come from any direction. Even from those we would not expect them to. We can take comfort in knowing that even when all appears lost, God is there for us, and always will be. God will never let us face trials that we are not (with Him) able to overcome, and, through Him, we can do just that if we have the faith to do so.

We are told to rejoice always, regardless of our situation. We are, through prayers, to let God know our desires, and His peace will keep us through Christ Jesus. We are also instructed to learn to be content with such as we have, be it great or small, God is with us and has blessed us beyond what we deserve. We have peace with God through Christ Himself. We are not to be troubled or afraid because the peace God gives us will suffice. God did not create us to fear the world or it's trials!

Through the love of Christ, which is beyond our knowledge, we can be strengthened by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Truly, His love is a precious gift, and it cannot be compared! He loved us so much, He gave His only Son as payment for our transgressions, and He did this while we were still far from Him.

Is it any wonder the Psalmist wrote: "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, praise ye the Lord." And wrote: "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation." If we are afflicted, we are to pray, if we are sick, to call the elders to anoint us and lay on hands and pray over us. If we are merry, we are to sing!

Loving is not an option for Christians, it is Commanded by Christ Himself. He commanded that we love God with all of ourselves, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Neither God, nor Jesus limited their love for mankind, and, striving to live a Christ like life, neither should we. In so doing, we are a witness to both the world and the Church that we are His! The greatest love is the love that a man shows when he gives his life for his friends, and Christ is the shining example for all to see.

"And now abiedth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

May God bless you and yours.........

A wonderful example of sharing understanding in the Holy Spirit. I see it, I feel it, and I love it.

So many in the forum demand specific quotes of text not understanding nor sharing in the Spirit. They have not learned or have forgotten teh written code kills

This post does quogte Scripture but with understanding and in the Holy Spirit.

One of the most repugnant thins I read in the forum at times is, "Can you give me scripture on that?" Not understanding what has been shared by the HOly Spirit. If people do not understand what is being shared, yes, it could be wrong, but do not ask for dead scrpture or text to justify anything. If the Holy Spirit is not there, wait.

One very superlatively good aspect of this forum is that oft times we gravitate by some unknown power to others who share the same understanding in the Holy Spirit. We come together whether others notice or not without judging others, nor condemning, however we are seen as such and accused of things we simply have not even considered.

And do it goes. I pray for a multitude of posts in the Holy Spirit, just as this one, amen all in the name of Jesus, Yeshuia, amen.

Hey! JaumeJ... PTL!
In bible school we had several students thought they heard from the Lord and would go up to another saying. "the Lord told me that we were to be married." This went on until, "When he tells me, then we will," caught on. Hearing from the Spirit is subjective and because of abuse by many, cannot be taken as proof to others regarding what a person might think the Lord is saying or doing to or through you, unless he tells me too. Whereas scripture is truth that is not subjective, is not subject to private interpretation. It is the dictionary with which we can prove the spelling. In debate, when someone says, "God told me," all discussion is ended because that one 'heard from God' and is closed to alternative points on that particular topic. We only know in part, and if any man think that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing as he ought to know; an axiom that I try to apply to myself as I read what others have to say. But it is the scripture that is the proof of accuracy and not what others may have or only thought that they have heard from the Spirit; at least until the Spirit tells me too. Whereas scripture is the truth in black and white and therefore perfect for use in debate as the only acceptable proof! imo... : )
Maranatha!

You may continue with your object vs subjective ways. I began in the Holy Spirit. I know when He is present and when He is not because His presence is felt, by myself and many who frequent this forum

Yes, I have heard many people in assemblies jump up and sy, "Thus saith the Lord," and come off with some lines actually from the Word, but just as frequently it seems simply wanting attention.

One day, back when I was on my "ciruit,¨" I was attending an in home worsip servce. Everyone was praising God and sharing the Word. There was a wonderful girl who turns ut named Marylin sitting on a stuffed ottoman type stool. She had a look of serenity, as I approached her, the Holy Spirit manifested His Presence and I was experiencing her experience fro she was totally in the Spirit. All I couls st to her, over and over, is "You are blesse, you are blessed." She sat there quite and smiling ever so serenely.

We know the difference between the Holy Spirit and some evil for there is no love with the wicked ones.

God is the same today as He as long ago, and He will always be the same.

The warmth and love felt in the Presence is unmistakeable, just as I felt the Presence whil reading P-reh's post... Praise god, His Holy Spirit has not abandonned Hid people, never will.

I pray that the Lord make himself at home in your spirit and make his word to be the power of his might to your heart and mind.
That he make you more and more sensitive to the Spirit's moving and increase your favor with himself, making your prayers to be the prayer of faith. I pray the Lord use you to minister the Spirit to those whom he loves and who are in need in Jesus' name. Amen.
