The interview didn't go well at all. There was a group of nine of us with eight slots.Instead of a sit down solo interview they had us do a group project building blocks.I didn't do well and so I wasn't hired.I feel like just giving up.I don't know what else to do. I've prayed and put applications but nothing works .I feel really down.

Hello mario1001,

I guarantee you, there is a really good reason why God shut that door!

Be thankful, even when we don’t get what we wanted or thought we needed.

“Heavenly Father, thank You for keeping Your loving watchful eye on mario1001. Bless Mario with peace and an abundance of faith to know Your plans for mario are good. Meet all of mario’s needs according to Your riches in Christ Jesus, amen.”

If He was going to shut that door why have me go through all that ?Why let them call me in at all if He knew I wasn't going to get it?I just don't understand.Maybe I'm too dumb .I don't know.

First of all, you've gotta stop feeling sorry for yourself. Two, like Lafftur said, there's a reason why you didn't get the job. Maybe that wasn't the line of work that you're supposed to be in. Be patient, and God WILL get you a job that is right for you. :)

mario1001, everyone will struggle at some point in their lives over a job, career or finances. What is happening to you, has, is or will happen to all of us, too.

It's easy to trust God when everything is going good for us. It's when we struggle with life's circumstances that we actually learn to trust Him because there is really NOTHING ELSE WE CAN DO. LOL! We realize that it's up to Him. We go to interviews and try our best, BUT the final outcome is up to Him.

You calling yourself dumb is because you think you have some kind of control over the situation and can't understand why you can't make it work. Well, you're NOT dumb! You just need to realize that it's up to Him, not you.

It's kinda like a trial or tribulation that is teaching us that we do NOT have control. ONLY God does.

Our part is to ask, take a step of faith and be thankful that He is in control, knows exactly what He is doing and He loves us very much and His plan for us is very good!

I think you sound like a wonderful person and would be a fabulous employee! Chin up! God has your best interest in His heart. Hang in there and keep trusting Him.

You haven't done anything wrong and God is NOT mad at you. Try focusing on things in your life that you are thankful for. Being thankful will keep depression away and help keep you in a positive mindset while you are job searching.

May God richly reward you for trusting Him! God bless you.
