One man's truth is another man's heresy ... only God knows who has it right, which we will all be surprised to find out none of us do!
Sorry I don't agree with the totality of that view.....I will concede that we all will have THINGS that we will be wrong on or needing to be adjusted, but to say none of us will know what is right cannot be correct......why do Insay this...

The saved who make the kingdom kniw what is right

The many that thibk they know the Lord and have right to enter because of their works in his name did not know what was right!

Apologies that it's taken so long for me to reply. I've been away for Christmas ... visiting family.

God's Word says what God's Word says concerning the matter.

Does God's Word say that Adam deceived his wife?
Not verbatim .By not protecting her as one creation. One falls the other falls with . He was found guilty .

Adam was not deceived as Eve was deceived.

1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Adam ate of the tree after Eve had eaten.

Genesis 3:6 … she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The result was disastrous for them (as well as their descendants).

garee said:
The husband Adam was not washing His wife Eve with the water of the word.
How do you know Adam "was not washing His wife Eve with the water of the word"?

You do not know that Adam did not tell Eve the Word of God just as God told Adam.

All we know is that satan approached Eve and questioned her concerning what God had said.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

satan tried to do the same thing to Jesus Christ in His temptation in the wilderness. After we read about God speaking from Heaven in Matt 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased

we read about the tempter coming to Him and the first words he spoke were If thou be the Son of God …

This tactic worked on Eve, but it did not work on the Lord Jesus Christ.

However, the point is that we do not know for a certainty that Adam did not wash "Eve with the water of the word".

Again ... apologies for the delay in replying to you. I was away visiting family.

supposedly Eve was repeating what Adam told her, that is the way it reads to me
You and garee both seem to believe Adam misspoke when he told Eve what God had told him. I believe Adam told Eve exactly what God told him and that Eve changed the word. However it occurred, we all agree that what Eve told satan was not what God told Adam.

I believe satan chose to approach Eve in his effort to deceive and he was successful. Eve changed the word of God and had no foundation to stand upon when satan deceived her … just as we have no foundation to stand upon when we change God’s Word.

When Jesus was tempted by satan, He answered satan with "It is written ... "

God’s Word is very powerful in overcoming the lies of the adversary. When we change God’s Word (as Eve did in Gen 3), we become open targets and give the advantage to the adversary.

Eve also referred to the tree being in the middle of the garden.....had Eve seen it there or was she again repeating what Adam told her.
As Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, she knew where it was and, according to her, it was in the midst of the garden.

Adam representing Christ was to protect her washing her with the water of the word he failed as many husbands do .
You do not know this is what happened.

It could have been that Adam did tell Eve exactly what God told him, and that Eve failed in keeping God's Word.

What we do know from God's Word is that Eve was deceived by satan (Gen 3:13, 1 Tim 2:14) and Adam was not deceived (1 Tim 2:14) and freely ate of his own will (Gen 3:6).

garee said:
What Eve did was imputed to Adam who was right there holding her hand.
Eve's actions were not "imputed to Adam". Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and received the consequence of his own actions. Even though Eve was deceived by satan, her transgression had disastrous result for her.

garee said:
The command was not to one, but not the other... but to mankind, one creation .
I understand this. However, Scripture tells us that God told Adam not to eat of the tree (Gen 2:17), then God said it was not good for Adam to be alone (Gen 2:18). God brought every beast of the field to Adam and Adam named each one, but there was not a help meet for Adam (Gen 2:19-20). Then God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and God made a woman for Adam (Gen 2:21-22).

garee said:
Mankind fell, not just the ladies... like ladies first and then man takes a bite of the forbidden fruit of doing the will of another .
Yes. The result was the same for both Adam and Eve, even though the circumstance was not the same for both.

Eve was deceived; Adam was not deceived (1 Tim 2:14). Adam took the fruit from Eve and ate (Gen 3:6).

garee said:
You could say in the winkling of the eye simotainously both bit different sides of the same apple in perfect harmony
All I know is what is written. Scripture says Eve ate and then she gave to Adam and he ate (Gen 3:6). Adam joined Eve in her fallen state.

The bottom line message is that humanity has a sin nature from the very beginning. Following Jesus is the answer to that problem.

I would offer. Eve was the first to be deceived. I think for a good reason and not that they are easier to temp.. Adam who was with her who was representing Christ. He took on the blame for not protecting her and suffered as representing the head, Christ.

Its not as in Eve all die and in Christ all who have the Spirit of Christ live.

Mankind is considered one creation. The father of lies would desire to separate that which God calls one. And call that one which God calls separate. The upside down god of this world.

If he ate of his own will and not the will of God he was deceived... just not the first.

I don't think there was a law that said the first to be deceived will be as in Eve all die . The focus seems to be is on mankind. Today called the new creation. No more male or female, Jew nor gentile as if we did know each other after the corrupted flesh and blood rather that walking by faith, which mankind fell from.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

This is a point that will never satisfy either side, HOWEVER it does NOT change the fact that while Eve (tempted) sinned by eating the fruit, it was ADAM as federal head of the human race that ate deliberately and sin and its results entered the world by his act.

Romans 5:19 For as through the ONE MAN'S disobedience the many were made sinners.............

Is the OP asking the exact time and date and minute and second when the world became corrupted, well I wasnt there at the time so, cant pinpoint it, but maybe it was when adam and eve ate the forbidden fruit and their eyes were opened and they saw they were naked.

Before that they were naked and it didnt bother them, but after they saw they were naked and it did.

No one disputes this fact as this is what Scripture tells us: 1 Tim 2:14 (NLT) And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan.

Have you ever stopped to consider WHY Adam did what he did?

Eve ate and God had told Adam But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die [text reads "dying you shall die"] (Gen 2:17).

When Eve ate, she was in her fallen state. Even though Eve was deceived by satan, her action resulted in sin (The woman was deceived, and sin was the result — 1 Tim 2:14 NLT).

Adam chose to eat, thereby joining his beloved wife in her sinful state (Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh).

DID I EVER CONSIDER WHY ADAM DID IT? NO, THE CROSS WAS PREDESTINED (PETER'S SERMON IN ACTS 2)

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED THIS: EVE WAS MADE FROM ADAM'S PRIME RIB.

Adam blamed Eve, and then blamed God for giving Eve to him, Eve blamed the serpent.
God blamed Adam.

Adam is a "type" of Christ (Rom 5:14 — the word "figure" is the Greek word typos meaning a type, or a prefigure). Adam chose to die when he saw that Eve had died. Adam did not abandon Eve and leave her. Adam joined Eve in her fallen state.

Jesus chose to die for us and not leave mankind in its fallen state:

Philippians 2:

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

That is a very interesting take regarding the intentions of Adam.
Something I have never considered..... Thanks!

I would offer before they sinned being in the presence of God as children of light they must had a glow like that of Moses when he came down from mount Sinai. When they sinned their corrupted body lost that covering representing the righteousness of Christ, as the glory of God. .

They covered up their private parts in shame, this was on the sixth day. (for husband and wife eyes only) Most likely the rest of creation had already been subject to corruption . God setting a side a special place in a garden in an already perfect creation to be used as a parable.

I would offer that the father of lies as the unseen spirt of error, Lucifer was the cause of corruption, this is when Christ found pride in his heart. Maybe all in the twinkling of the eye as soon as he created him . Up until day four the glory of God was the light of this world and then God turned on the switch of the two temporal time keepers the Sun and the moon.

In the new incorruptible heavens and earth . God again will be the source of light just as during the first three days .Three as usual denoting the end of the matter. .

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.Revelation 21:22-24

Did God who knew the outcome corrupt the first creation immediately ? 1st day, 2nd, 3rd etc ?

Genesis 6:12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it "was corrupt"; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Why are you trying to say God created evil?

Time to leave you to your own ruminations.
God is sovereign, God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient and immutable.
God knows the end from the beginning because it is HIS plan that will be done and HIS will that 100% drives His creation.
God predestined people.....some to glory, some to destruction
God predestined events.........the Fall of the human race, the cross
God does these things for HIS OWN GLORY.
We are His creation, He is NOT our creation to mold Him into an observer of His world, to be passive in power or to make the blood of Christ as either sacred or of no account at the "choice" of fallen natural DEAD men we are all born as.

God knows the end from the beginning because it is HIS plan that will be done and HIS will that 100% drives His creation.
So when Adam and Eve ate of the tree knowledge of good and evil, that was "HIS will"?

And because God "100% drives His creation", it was God that "drove" Adam and Eve to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil?

If it was God's will that Adam and Eve eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, why did God command Adam to not eat in Gen 2:16-17?

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God knowing Adam and Eve would eat of the tree (because He knows the end from the beginning) and God devising His plan of redemption through the Lord Jesus Christ is not the same as God's Will being done when Adam and Eve sinned.
