We do not maintain our salvation.

If you want to know the truth the statement should say

"If we are born again we will follow His ways. Sometimes we will make mistakes, but we can fall on our knees and repent when God by His grace shows us our sins . We Remain saved because God gives us His Holy Spirit who remains with us.

Once adopted by God into His family, He will never toss us out into the street. He will always love us. Some of us may be prodigals but even when we run away from Home, God waits with open arms for us to return.

He never disowns us but loves us with Agape love."

I wonder what we are "doing" if we listen to the Bible verse "Be still and know that I am God"?

Our beliefs will change as God reveals His truth.

However the only Belief that matters is in the work of Jesus upon the Cross

Was it enough to save or do you have to add to it?

If Jesus work upon the Cross for the redemption of my sins isn't enough to save me, then nothing I do will ever be.

I don't work to be saved. I work because I know that I am saved and a beloved child of God.

Do you work to earn a reward/fear of losing your salavtion?

Or because your heart is overflowing with love?

Personally, I do works because it's the right thing to do when a person wants to serve God and be His example. No adding needed..

Every one on this thread who knows me, knows that I believe that works are not necessary to gain, maintain, keep or secure salvation. We do works to obey God and show His love to others.

HE declares the End from the Beginning, Because HE is already in simultaneously in both Places.

HE wrote our Names in the Book of Life, before the Foundation of the World, because their is NO TIME WITH GOD.
