The love that Jesus showed towards people when He was on earth preaching the truth is the same love that applies today.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, so all are sinners, and if Jesus' love was for them back then it is for us today.

Although the selfishness, and arrogance, and self exaltation, is higher today than years ago, and God told us of the last generation(Proverbs 30:11-14), who will be worse in human behavior than before that time.

Which technology is the culprit, for it caused money, and material things, to flow like a raging river, and worldliness to increase like a big dog, and the enjoyment of entertainment, and fleshy pleasures.

So it brought out the selfishness, and arrogance, and self exaltation, more than in the past, which Jesus said since iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold, for their attitude is people basically care about themselves with little regard for anybody else, so you do not care about me, I do not care about you, and they stop caring so much about the feelings of others, and then the attitude is get all you can get and forget everybody else.

But despite that people are more self exalting, which selfishness, and arrogance is a product of that, God still loves people today the same as He loved people back then.
