I think we need even more posts about being careful to search for God's message to us, encouraging all Christians to do all they can to find the original message given.

The language of God, the language God uses mostly in the original is Hebrew. Even the men who wrote in any other language had an original language of Hebrew or were trained in it. Hebrew is different from any other language, it is able to express concepts that no translation has a word for such as the Hebrew word shalom. Greek is used often for scripture, yet it cannot translate Hebrew meanings well. In Greek a word can be used to give a meaning that is completely abstract yet in Hebrew that word cannot be separated from the actions that follow. Love is an example.

If Christians would keep these things in mind, and be open to searching scripture for truth, for words closest to God's message to them, it could revitalize the church. If the church is revitalized, it revitalizes the world.

The editores were instructed by King Jame to make sure that the tralslation was in harmony with the Theology of the Church of England.

Is it then the head covereings, and the divorce issue, was directly with keeping with the Catholic Bible.

Though The Angelican Church of England, did remove it's self from the Catholic Church, because a King then, wanted a divorce from his wife who couldn't give a male son. They still practice confessions to a Priest, so are we reading a mini version of the Catholic Bible, and hating them as well.
surpirzed this is here. I thought it didn't post. Logged in and lo and behold. Not a good topic. I'm really not a thread maker in the bible forums, tried before, dosn't work for me.

Your x's are so spiritually immature, can't you write anything, seems like you don't like wikipedia either, what a unhappy camper you seem to be. How about putting some postive, things, so we could all learn from. Or is it the eggs you don't like. I seem to percieve you have issues. I also texted you, please read them, to avoid offenses, and keep the Love of Christ. Thank you.

Agreed. The RCC did not want the comman man to have access to God’s word. They wanted to have the sole authority on “religion.”
I agree with you.

IT IS NOT A CATHOLIC BIBLE AT ALL. PROOF? CATHOLIC BIBLES HAVE SEVEN EXTRA BOOKS IN THEIR OLD TESTAMENTS (MARKED WITH ASTERISKS AND OUT OF THE APOCRYPHA).

Genesis
Exodus
Leviticus
Numbers
Deuteronomy
Josue (Joshua)
Judges
Ruth
1 Kings (1 Samuel)
2 Kings (2 Samuel)
3 Kings (1 Kings)
4 Kings (2 Kings)
1 Paralipomenon (1 Chronicles)
2 Paralipomenon (2 Chronicles)
1 Esdras (Ezra)
2 Esdras (Nehemiah)
Tobias (Tobit *)
*Judith *
Esther
Job
Psalms
Proverbs
Ecclesiastes
Canticles (Song of Solomon)
Wisdom*
*
Ecclesiasticus*
*Isaias (Isaiah)
Jeremias (Jeremiah)
Lamentations
Baruch*
Ezechiel (Ezeckiel)
Daniel
Osee (Hosea)
Joel
Amos
Abdias (Obadiah)
Jonas (Jonah)
Micheas (Micah)
Nahum
Habacuc (Habakkuk)
Sophonias (Zephaniah)
Aggeus (Haggai)
Zacharias (Zachariah)
Malachias (Malachi)
1 Machabees* (1 Maccabees)
2 Machabees* (2 Maccabees)

I have no idea what bustedhalo represents, but before you go much further, kindly do some serious research into the King James Bible. There is a lot of anti-KJV propaganda out there, and the facts usually get swept under the rug.

Do I think the King James Bible is the best? Absolutely. And I have the facts to prove it. But there are plenty of threads on this topic.
That is a lot of info. I am not against the kjv, I think it is written very good, a little hard to understand, but the New intern. version, obmits a lot of things that are written in the KJV. and most of churches for what known reason have that in the pews, instead of the kjv. Yes there are a lot of different versions. I like the Living bible, and the Jersusalem bible. What ever works for someone, to understand it, is the key. :)

king james and many other nobles were big believers in the divine right to rule doctrine, they wanted a bible that would be more frienly to this idea which in turn would make the masses more easy to manipulate.
Im not agaisnt it, I read on the web, that and looked at the
You know you’re making a huge claim and I hope you are well versed to support such a claim through years of studying the issue. I hope you’re just not posting material from a website but have studied the King James Bible yourself.
no claim, this is copyed and pasted. Not my own words, but I did look into the England Church, and they did break off because of the King refused to grant a divorce to King Henry. It was written as Wikipedia said, to be geared towards the England Church. They did away with the worshipping of the Saints, and a few differences. So sorry that it's upsetting, I like the king James, but the Niv, is not a complete translation of the Kjv. and yes I 've read the kjv, but prefer an easier translation, like the Jerusalem bible, and not the New Jerusalem bible.
