Ya, only a right wing nut but would take the issue of the advert and bring abortion into play - just another example of right wing fake news.

And you fell in line hook and sinker.

Since someone has already posted a link, here is the ad.

Now,the ad is about toxic masculinity, which is a farce. People act as individuals. There is nothing wrong with being masculine. That was the first point. The second point is that Gillette is virtual signaling while supporting abortion through the backdoor. That is how the two points intertwine. That's what the meme is about.

Yes, I understand what you are saying, but supporting abortion is also a virtuous according to the left, so really to them there is no contradiction, both stances are good and just

This is where the conservatives fail to understand the mindset of the far left.

The "cultural marxist left" to be more specific, believes they are taking the very high moral road.

But I agree with Meghan McCain, this company is just fueling the culture war, getting free publicity and trying to be relevant

Yes.I'd agree some men are. But it's not masculinity that makes them toxic. There are toxic women too as I'm sure some men will attest to.

This is where the left really understands the mindset of the far right in that the FR want to supplant democracy by imposing their view on everybody else

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

It's the left ( and they're ALL FAAAAR) that are the anti democratic fascists today!

We Christian men strive to be better and to hold one another accountable because God told us to do so. We don't need any advice from a feminist dictator who has a giant Redwood-sized ax to grind.
Fixed it for ya. :)

Yes indeed, the left points the finger at conservatives what is really true about them, I see it over and over again.

There are certainly some behaviours that are stereotypically engaged in by men that are unacceptable. Such behaviours have nothing to do with masculinity, but with ignorance, stupidity, and sin. The biggest problem with the ad, and the agenda behind it, is that there is no distinction. The result is that people are led to think that "masculine" = "toxic". That is just c**p.

to a communist, a lie to gain what the communist wants is the truth

repeat a lie until everyone believes it and malign and lie about those who oppose the lies

there are actual communists in government now and pretty proud about it

So so true, I am shocked and baffled by what people are promoting......socialism, communism completely failed systems that have caused tremendous misery and suffering, people need to move on.

It’s fine if toxic behavior is being addressed, but clearly, this company is most likely only doing this because they anticipate that this campaign will be good for business.

Imagine a makeup brand making a commercial about toxic women. Would that make me want to use that brand? What would I be thinking whenever using it? Would it make me feel good about myself?

Obviously the answer is no. I’d feel negative about myself.

I don’t understand why they are making commercials like that, it’ll probably just gonna make men feel bad about themselves.

Maybe said company had an idea about how men would be feeling obligated to buy their products, if they managed to establish some sort of peer pressure based on their highly commercialized moral standards.

I think it’s just another sad, non innovative way of trying to squeeze another buck out of #MeToo.

Nobody wants to be lectured by a commercial.
What if a toilet paper commercial was telling me not to steal. I already know I'm not supposed to do that so just advertise your product.
