Asking an intelligent question is not bashing. Human's make mistakes and our understandings of translation has improved, increased over 400 years.
Did i accuse you of bashing? Have you made the claim that the KJV is not the Word of God? Nope..

It was a general description of the people who are out to undermine the KJV as the Word of God in the eyes of people.. And yes there is a movement of people who would love to see piles of KJV bibles being burnt..

Unicorn and wicked bible comes up, but I already know the answers to both. Unicorns never existed and the wicked bible was a misprint.
Unicorns don't exist? Says who? Unicorns are simply a one horned beast like a rhino. Ever see a rhino? Then you've probably seen a unicorn.

These people do not want to give up final authority. As long as they are convinced that God has NOT preserved His word today, then they can use their own intellect in determining what saith the Scriptures.

One thing i've noticed is that "Thus sayeth the Lord" is something that has really left its mark on American Christianity. Thats why all the fake prophets of today always start their nonsense revival prophecies with those words.

why believe the King James is the final authority? to me it looks like one of many English translations. it became highly influential by time and chance. it was adopted by the church of England at a time when the British empire was just beginning to rise.

From north to south the princes meet
To pay their homage at His feet,

While western empires own their Lord,
And savage tribes attend His word.
