Forum bombed !! Yeah its totally ok. He posted early that he was missing someone after their passing. I know the pain of losing someone you love. I willingly submit my intro post.

Now you make me want to be in Colorado ! We Get a couple snowfalls each winter. That's about it and then only a couple of inches. Have you always lived there ?
I was being silly... that's very nice of you to submit your intro post. :)

We get all 4 seasons here in Colorado. Totally blessed with that and the beautiful nature He provides here. I don't know if I want to move from Colorado yet in the near future, the Carolinas (mostly Raleigh and Charlotte) have been on my mind since years ago. Maybe God will put on my heart to move to another state  I've lived here mostly since 1994. Before that I was raised in northern California near the wine country and ocean. I miss the ocean! How do you like the Carolinas compared to Kentucky?

I get so homesick for my family in Kentucky and the farm that I grew up on. Take the holidays for example. I drove home for Christmas. I think I nearly cried the entire drive back home. But I am very happy here. I like the facility I work for and love my job. I'm close to the NC mountains and the SC beaches. During the summer by the way I'm fill on beach mode ! Like you I enjoy the seasons. My dad was military so I'm very used to moving and adapting. I am pretty much happy anywhere. What's that old saying about no place like home ? Kentucky will always feel like home in ways.

As they say... no place like home and home is where the heart is. Totally understand and from my experiences letting go and trusting in God is the best thing to do as we experience changes in our life... even if the changes are tough to deal with. It is true the grass is not always greener on the other side, the grass is greener where you fertilize it. You are right, we can be happy pretty much anywhere!

You have been super kind. Thank you for the warm welcome. May I ask what area you are in ? I'm in the upstate of SC. Just a skip away from North Carolina.
Awwww, you're welcome :)

I'm not from the States as most of you guys are. I live in England in the south.

Oh how cool. Hello across the pond !! How has your weather been ?
Hehe yeahh, it's been dull as always here. It has been really cold though...we had sunshine with clear blue skies yesterday, which was really good.

I like to cook 3! I have family in Italy and they own a bakery. I'm not a great cook, but I have a few recipes that my Italian grandmother gave me that I love!
