I'll start. I was setup on a blind date by a friend. So it was at a local Applebees. I have never in my life done something like this so I'm a mess. So I show up reasonably early and just survey the landscape. Try and calm myself by having an IPA. I never over indulge but every now and then I have a few. Well I wait. And wait. And wait. Finally a woman matching the description my friend gave me comes walking through the door 40 minutes late. I walk up and greet her. She apologizes briefly and excuses herself to use the bathroom just as her phone starts blowing up with text alerts. Now I am a very patient man but at this point I am beginning to enter frustration mode. So I sit back down at the booth and wait. 10 minutes elapse. Still she doesn't return. I just gave up on her and ordered the appetizer sampler. I tried to make the best out of a disappointing night. But our story is not over yet. A few days later I finally find out from my friend who tried setting me up what really happened. Apparently the woman I was meeting had a date with someone else 2 hours before she was to meet me. It went so well for her that she blew me off to continue the evening with him. Now I don't date someone unless they are saved.

That's pretty lame on her part.
She could at least have at least been an adult about it and was honest with you.

My most recent dating story is that I haven't had one in years...but I have had some doozies.
Our 4th date, he was totally different and kept trying to touch me and slobber on me. So I excused myself and hid in the bathroom until I got the nerve to confront him and leave. So glad I drove myself. That was probably the most uncomfortable.
Right now, it's all about someone being a Christian and it's a lot of phone conversation even before meeting.
I never ever go on a date without letting someone know where I'm going and when I should be back and whom I'm meeting. Even at my age.

My weirdest dating experience was during my college days. Met a guy at the gym. Very nice guy and fit. First date was to this BBQ place. He asked if he may order for me. I agreed and he ordered me a salad. I like salad and this one was great so no biggie that he had ribs. Second date and third date same BBQ place. Same scenario. I figured it out that I wasn't ever getting the half rack so no fourth date 😂 It was odd. He was nice and a perfect gentleman.

This was quite awhile ago my first date but long story short a girl I was talking too invited me to come with her and her sister to a concert and we hung out at my place after and watched movies. But that wasnt the awkward part lol The concert was we where the only three people who showed up to the concert. There where two bands playing. They felt bad charging us even the girls I was with try to make the best of it and get a little moshy lol if thats a term (it was a metal concert) but I just kinda sat there lol hoping the awkward would end lol. What made it worse the other band who the girls I was with knew a few members asked if we all wanted Mc Donalds when there act was up....and never came back :LOL:
