We Shall Not Be Burdened By The Yoke Of Slavery
Of course that does not mean that we were freed so we
could do whatever we want with disregard for Christ. It
means we were freed from the old laws. Paul says that
if we observe the old law, Christ is of no value to us. It
means that in Jesus, through His law of love, all the law
is fulfilled. So loving our neighbor fulfils the law. Not
loving our neighbor moves away from the law. So each
morning when we wake up the love of God should
empower us and we only need to accept that love and
not veer away from it. The more we experience His love
being drawn in by us, the nearer we come to Him in love
and deed. It is good to tether ourselves to the Spirit of
Christ, life is well worth it.
