Dear Lord God, please help Brian217 and all of us to see that our sin against you is the same as those who sinned against you when they beat and crucified you. God help Brian and all of us to come to repentance. Thank you Jesus.

I have had the same issue in the past but found that if I stay away from the first drink that I am able to seek the Lord's will.

Hi Brian, hope you’re alright - It’s a good thing you noticed, you can nip it in the bud so it doesn’t need to go any further. Drinking too much can cause problems, so it’s great you realise - you must be sensible to notice. Some people just need to be more careful than others. Pray you find other recreational activities that you enjoy that won’t cause any problems.

Dear Jesus, I pray to ask You Jesus to please help and assist Brian find alternative healthier fruitful ways to use to relax, or destress, switch-off, or wind down, or have a jolly, or deal with anything that might be bothering him. Please strengthen Brian when he wants to drink too much and help him have some self-control by Your Holy Spirit. Not sure if Brian has trusted on you Jesus, but I pray that You are at work in Him and His life for Brian’s good and well-being, and for Your glory. Amen.
