But no one here that believes in OSAS believes that works will not follow , not one of us believes that , for our works from God are planned before the foundation of the world , but works do not save us...
It seems that this point of your argument you are missing , we are called to do good works after we have been saved...xox...
I read a post of one guy who said you didn't have to have any works for three years after you got saved.

Just for the record, no one here is denying sanctification and christian growth, and how since god loved us, we should learn to emulate him, and in doing so, do the works we created us to do,

People will use the strawman we are immature, or hate obedience, or love our sin (many other accusations which are not true)

Our soul beef is against the thought that obedience is what saves us, making eternal life not a fift of God paid by the blood of christ, but a reward or wage earned by our hard work.
Amen...Everything we do for the grace of God comes after we are saved...
We come to Him broken , not even able to lift our head , are fit for nothing , then He starts to restore what the evil one has taken...
God gives us the amount of faith needed to keep in step day by day , and as we grow , He grows our faith more and more , H will not give us more than we can handle , He is kind , He is patient , He is merciful , He knows we are but human , He does the growing , we are kept in His power , all the glory to God most High...xox...

But what about people who are so disabled , cannot talk but only communicate by blinking , these are people who cannot work , what about people who got up in the morning , excepted Jesus as their Savior , yet died within the next 5 mins of their life and produced no works , are these not saved because they had no works , or are they saved because they gave their life to Christ ?...xox...

I find it AMAZING that some here who preach a losable salvation dont care about people enough to answer questions relating to maintaining salvation.

If salvation can be lost you should be extremely worried about me and tell me WHAT im misunderstanding when I ask you in a friendly manner!

I dont see Peter or Paul turning down someone asking them a question.

You talk about "these OSAS guys they just love to sin and people believe in it so they can sin", watch me FLIP that back on you:
"These 'IKEA Doityourself salvation' preachers just love to act superior to everyone else, look down their nose at people and tell them they are a lost cause and wont understand my next level theology, those simpletons"

Not of works LEST ANYONE SHOULD BOAST.

If you can take credit, or boast, Then it is a work,, You can boast of works outside the law. Not just the law.

Not to mention, at no time is the law mentioned in these chapters of Ephesians in regard to works, so they are ADDING to the word.
Are you teaching people that once they are saved by the Grace of God, through the faith in Jesus Christ, that they do not have to do any works, not even feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit those in prison or the widows, etc? Because they could boast about those too?

So you do no works of Christ or for Christ? What do you do as a person living for Christ then? It seems you are saying that we are not obligated to help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the widows, fatherless and those in prison, welcome the stranger, give drink to those thirsty, etc, because we could boast about it.

Eph 2:10 says we were "created in Christ for good works".

Did you know that Jesus only chooses those who do good works? and those that didn't go to eternal punishment? Mat 25:32

Where you have immature Christians, you often find all they want to do is speak of salvation through faith apart from works. And they take offence if you quote the bible where it speaks of obligation. The immature are not that far along the road, though they may be able to quote the letter of scripture exhaustively. Some of them get most upset, and accuse you of being phariseeically minded, or a judaizer for instance when you speak of obligation as you are. Be warned!!
That's funny.
For me, and many others, it's the exact OPPOSITE. Maturity is realizing that that our works as it relates to Salvation, are reckoned as filthy (used menstrual cloths) rags.

Amen, He makes us new creatures, the things we used to love as non believers is now poison to us, What tasted good then, tasts bad now. and not ony that, makes us sick. We no longer act like Dogs, because we are not dogs, we are new creatures in Christ.

If you want to be saved by works of the law the pass mark is 100% perfect obedience, no slipups Gal3:10&11&James2:10

Your last line is a false Gospel. Just so were clear about what the Gospel unto Salvation is, Paul clearly says it.

1 Corinthians 15 New King James Version (NKJV)
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

THERE IS NOTHING IN THE ABOVE ABOUT WORKS!!

And so we are equally clear about what Paul says about false Gospels:

Galatians 1:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be [a]accursed.

OK, maturity is good. So can you tell me, if Paul preached a message that in effect states: you are not righteous/justified by not committing sin/observing the law/works of the law, how could he also warn believers that living a sinfull lifestyle would bar them from the kingdom of Heaven?

Well they could boast of them, yes, like the non believer or the person who thinks their works saves or maintains their salvation do, But they could also praise God that they have the opportunity to do them. and work out the lve that God has shown to them in grace and mercy, like other TRUE believers do.

So you do no works of Christ or for Christ?
Your bordering on slander, Get off your high horse and for once do not be like so many who came before you and never listen to what people are saying, Stop assuming you know.

What do you do as a person living for Christ then? It seems you are saying that we are not obligated to help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the widows, fatherless and those in prison, welcome the stranger, give drink to those thirsty, etc, because we could boast about it.
It seems you have utterly no comprehension of what I believe or teach, and are just making a strawman argument,

Eph 2:10 says we were "created in Christ for good works".

Did you know that Jesus only chooses those who do good works? and those that didn't go to eternal punishment? Mat 25:32
No he only teaches those who have true living faith, he rejects those who reject him, Mere belief in him is the same as rejecting him. (and if you had been reading my posts you would see I ust used that same passage to prove true believers work)

Those who have true living faith do work, Matt 25 is giving you a characteristic of true faith people vs no faith people.

As john said, he who believes is not condemned, he who does not believe is condemned ALREADY.
