Further, I think Jesus was speaking DIRECTLY to satan, and NOT Peter. Satan very well could have been standing right next to Peter, whispering evil in his ears. Jesus may have been able to see him doing this.

I do NOT believe satan was in Peter. That was the distinction between the two.
Amen! There is a major distinction between Peter and Judas. Peter is not Satan and Peter was also not an unbelieving, unclean devil who betrayed Jesus. Satan did not enter Peter, unlike Judas Iscariot, who Satan did enter. (Luke 22:3)

yes many will say "we prophesied in your name" "done many works in your name"

doubt any will say "i prophesied by the power of God" or "cast out devils by the power of God"

Matthew 10:1 (KJV)
1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

let me slowly break this down

he called unto him his twelve disciple (had to include Judas, notice 12)

He (JESUS) gave them power against unclean spirits

the power of God to heal all manner of sickness

the verse you quoted doesn't apply here
Many will say in that day, we have down powers in your name

Notice the reply, he did not say he they were wrong, or call them liars,

He said he never knew them

Your drawing things out of passages which are not implied in order to maintain your belief. Thats dangerous.

Is there a reason you are writing in large print?

John 12:5-6 (NCV)
5 “This perfume was worth three hundred coins. Why wasn’t it sold and the money given to the poor?“
6 But Judas did not really care about the poor; he said this because he was a thief. He was the one who kept the money box, and
he often stole from it.

John 17:12 (NCV)
12 While I was with them, I kept them safe by the power of your name, the name you gave me. I protected them, and only one of them, the one worthy of destruction, was lost so that the Scripture would come true.
They say we can not be saved if we are in sin, yet they demand this sinner was saved.

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.
1 Thessalonians 2:10

Is Paul lying, a hypocrite, empty and without promise?

Some seem to feel only hypocrites would say they were holy, righteous and blameless.
Are you saying we can all equally claim what Paul is claiming about himself?

You are just condemning Paul and the people of God.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Col 3:12

What you praise people do, what you condemn people avoid.
I answered this already.

I doubt god allows satan to enter his children, a demon and god could not reside in the same body

I am having a hard time also.

You seem to have digressed to act like all the others, you will not even confess when you make a mistake.

All i am trying to do is open your eyes, to see what you are doing because i care!

As for the difference. It is not very difficult to know one is a title given by God, to a man indwelt and controlled by satan, and the other is a. Harsh word which made its point. Which people do al, the time, HUGE DIFFERENCE!
See that wasn't hard was it. You told me what you felt like the difference was

My question to this young lady was the same "what do you feel like the difference was?"

so you feel the need to attack me as an ignorant pastor

He was saved but he fell just like Peter said he did in Acts chapter 1 when he said Judas by transgression fell
well, since Scripture tells us judas was a thief, taking money from the money box, and Jesus said " did I not choose you, yet one of you is a devil".

so, judas was never saved, i.e., never a true believer.

try using the whole Bible to teach, and stop using reductionism. bad practice for a pastor.

Where does the Bible say that Judas was saved? "Unbelieving/unclean/devil/betrayer/son of perdition" are not descriptive terms of someone who is saved. Proverbs 24:16 - For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. Judas did not fall and rise again, but instead, turned aside to go to his own place.

My daddy was a pentecostal preacher and evangelist. I was redeemed as a child. I did leave for awhile, ventured off into a treacherous wilderness of disastrous proportions. Praise be to Him, He brought me back to my knees 15 years ago. I have been rewiring some stuff (nondeminational now) I didn't quite understand and needed to go in. The past several years I have been more been more diligent as Jeremiah 15:16 applies for me too. I am so grateful. Also, my heart burns, too, as He opens the verses to me.

I am just really digging in because His words have become the joy and rejoicing of my heart. Oh and lets not forget proverbs 25:2...

Anyway, I am glad you are at a place where you can teach but I also pray that you remain teachable. I think that sanctification and growth that we find in Him, requires it. May we never become desensitized with His revealing.

Quiet at His feet like Mary. Being still is what I mean. I think He wants, very much, our one on one tine with Him. In prayer, study, writing, singing, and LISTENING.

My appreciation for learning, has me relating to the bereans, chowing down. He is teaching me, though, that while the greek interpret knowing to be a head knowledge thing, the hebrews define knowing more towards the heart, in worship and fellowship. So my analytical and busy mind needs to shhhhhh, so I can hear Him. Pray for me, will you?

Do you have any thing you'd like me to pray about?
I absolutely love your humble heart ...A very precious sight to our heavenly Father...xox...All the glory to God most High...xox...

You told the lady she never answered her

And have yet to admit error, and confess your sin.

So you tell me what i should see.

He was saved while continuing in sin?

Ok, nope. Not gonna buy it.

Does a person who realises they need a savior turn that savior in to be crucified?

Nope. Not gonna believe it.

Those whom were saved stayed, they did not fall into perdition. They may not have understood, but they stayed, because they were seeking what jesus had to offer.

Judas had the power of God to cast out devil's. Matthew 10:1

Did not Jesus say Satan can't cast out Satan.....house divided can't stand

Acts 1 Peter said said Judas fell by transgression

John 13 says it wasn't until Last supper after Jesus gave him the sop that Satan entered into him

How much Bible shall I give you??

Being a deceiver with scripture is a bad practice for anyone including you or any pastor

You cant have it both ways,

You cant say thiefs and murderers will not go to heaven, then say this one thief was saved. All to,prove your theory that eternal life is not really eternal. Judas lost it. So there is my proof.

Judas didn't start out a thief.....Peter said he obtained part of this ministry

He was tempted and fell just like any Christian today can fall by transgression......why do you deny the plain scripture......Judas fell by transgression

Lol, ok man

Keep trying

I look at the whole. Peter was said to steal often from the money

It does not matter when he started it, he was a habitual, sinner. He could not have been saved.

Again, jesus said all kinds of people will talk of all the miracles they did and how they cast out demons, amd jesus will, say depart, he never knew them, not that they were liars

I am sure judas will make the same argument.
