Yes the sheep among them need be like Jesus, that God loves them, he cares for them.

I love the approach of Jesus.
Met with sinners, dined with sinners.

Loved them where they were at, when they saw this and experienced this then their lives were changed.

We are called by God to be like Jesus, to love and to accept others where they are at.

What a privilege that God would use us.
We must never forget that, God will use us he wants to use us.
So many do not believe it bacuase they think they are dirty miserable sinners.

Just like this hot headed man

Luke 5:8
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

And we know what he went on to do.

I agree, sharing in a condemnatory way about sin is not helpful.
But talking to people about how sinful behaviour traps us and enslaves us and testifying to Jesus and His
transformation is helpful because it is raising the flag of hope and salvation.

And what do you call someone who follows a belief system but has not yet met Jesus?
An unbeliever. And there are unbelievers in churchs, on this forum and in the world.

And God calls His sheep to Himself and His word through preaching and sharing the victory
and love He promises and delivers. Amen.

Anything that is written about Judas has to be seen in the light of how Jesus saw him.
Jesus considered him just like the other 12 until the end. He might have discerned at some point that Judas was going to betray Him...but I don't see it in scripture...
Too much on this has to be understood through incomplete writings.

I don't care to argue it too much.
Someone here said some use this to prove OSAS is not true.
That's pretty funny.
The N.T. is full of verses about how OSAS cannot be true...no need for Judas.

WOW.......Fran....you are slipping......the bolded takes 2nd place today concerning statements that reek a bit.....JESUS chose JUDAS on purpose to FULFILL scripture...HE KNEW full well that JUDAS would betray HIM.....I cannot believe the level of benightedness that gets posted on this site

I find most on this thread do not care to discuss scripture.

Yes. I do get the feeling that those that do not reply to questions don't know the answer or are afraid to post what they think. Persons that are sure of their beliefs have no problem quoting scripture and speaking about it. Use @mailmandan as a good example.

He and I do not agree (I'm still not sure of what) but he's very courteous and civil and actually posts scripture and does explain it even though I don't agree with his exegesis.

Then open your eyes to how some others here behave. All they want to do is argue.
I'm not speaking to them anymore BTW.

If you want to discuss scripture...
You POST THE SCRIPTURE
And then you exegete it.

That's how it's done.
No personal remarks about me,,,which is all I hear.

Brother it is a most difficult thing to discuss scripture with one so fickle that regularly contradicts not only scripture, but themselves as well......
