It's name was never stated, only as the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. One thing is for sure, it wasn't an apple.

Ya know, I was just thinking......

What if it is the same tree - meaning there is only one tree even though there is a tree on each side of the River because they share the same root system that pulls life from the River ............

Two trees would be completely separate with their own root system....... Well, I hope to find out one day!!

The scriptures don't really give us any info on the root system, although the tree would definitely get its water source from the River.
