Of course the most important requirement was that Jesus was utterly unblemished physically. So no, He could not have been sickly frail or less than perfect.
Read the 53rd Psalm......and the no blemish or spot was pointed at him being sinless.....

Disagree on Jesus being ill or sickly. He was a stupendously energetic orator (exhausting), singlehandedly cleansed the temple twice (physically imposing no doubt), 40 days of excruciating temptation in the desert hills of the Judean wilderness.

He was a mans man and probably physically as perfect as a man could be in a fallen world.
Read the 53rd Psalm........and then pay attention to how easily he disappeared into the crowds.....he was not good looking and NOTHING about him physically would draw our attention and or make us desire him.....the exact opposite of your view

Regarding the name it and claim it crowd, does anyone ever claim something that is hard, requires sacrifice, and may result in personal pain and suffering or is it that the things that are claimed are always the fun, easy things, that require no effort and benefit no one except the recipient?
"Unless you become as a little child you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven"
Another example of a child is when Jesus said "...will the Father put a scorpion in his childs hand"

Why do we think God only tasks his children abusively?

Show me a child requesting abuse.

Be careful.
Any prayer of request is basically "name it and claim it"
Mat 18:18,19
Don't hold the Lord's teaching as mockery and evil.
I did at one time.
Bitter pill as it damages ones faith big time.

Jesus had an rigorous physically exhausting 3-1/2 year ministry, not for the faint, frail or weak.
His voice must have been powerful as well preaching as He was to the vast crowds......

I see you have basically the same understand that I have concerning the promises God's word.
I believe, those who appose this doctrine do not put their faith so much in the word of God as they do God Himself.
I believe, they think God doesn't have to do what He promised, that He can change His mind, and that His word and will are two separate things.
Yes,true.
I believe we will raise the dead.
We are on the verge of huge miracles.

I do not agree with the excesses in the prosperity abuses.
They erroneously center on money.
Very, very bad abusive road they take.

My beef is that those mocking are cessationists that mock Jesus' words of the bible.
They do not realize "name it and claim it" is in the bible.
You never hear them quote ANY VERSES on the authority.
They NEVER bite on Davids faith and victory, nor mention anything of the great commission.

IOW,the modern mockers are against anyting having to do with power, authority,or exploits.

My concern is that when they do need a miracle, their own faith is so weakened, they come to God in shame because they tirelessly prove he has no power.

It burdens me because i used to be in there with them.
They are destroying their own faith....as did I

What would be better?
There is a new treatment come out for your condition that might cure you.
Do you try it, or is it better to not bother?

I'm trending towards the missing limb growing back on someone. Stopping a hurricane mid-ocean is too easy, sort of like making the sun go forward. Seems like a harder thing to make it go backward.
Wow,you hope God is powerless and get several " likes"

Gods people dare to believe he has power, the great comission is not fake, and we get mocked.
What will you do when you go to the king for a miracle???

Your faith will be weakened as you steer away from his power and authority.

There is an underlying precept that the "sign gifts" had a primary purpose, that being to validate the true proclaimers of the true Gospel, which was basically brand new back in the days of the early Church. Are they operative today? I personally have never manifested any nor witnessed any.

Sure..that does not prove anything about his physical looks or strength....and read the 53rd Psalm and be honest with the verbiage....I am sick of people what claim belief while rejecting the WORDS INSPIRED IN THE BIBLE while INSERTING OPINION.....

OK. My own take on that is that Jesus was not striding thru Judea and Galilee in overtly regal splendor with all of the kingly pomp, retinue, fine appointments and clothing etc etc.

Just my opinion.....

Men,not God, placed a time limit on the church's equipping.
The great comission has no expiration date.

Both art montgomery and David Hogan have YouTube vids.

The power is not evil.
It is there for anyone who can weild it.
Most drop out right away, because they see it is a bitter pill.
You must walk in holiness, and you will be stalked by the devil.
A bitter pill follows being used of God.
But it is worth every attack and trial.

The Holy Spirit is a strategist. A general. He allows us to put one over on the devil.

Let's talk about us.
How many people have you brought to Jesus in the past year?
Not none of these treasure hunts like Bethel Church promotes.
Not how many healings, but how many gave their lives to Jesus through you?

Thats a starting point.

15 “If your brother or sister[] sins,[c] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d] 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[e] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[f] loosed in heaven.

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

“Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods."

Psalm 53 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
To the director: Use the mahalath.[a] A maskil of David.
53 Only fools think there is no God.
People like that are evil and do terrible things.
They never do what is right.
2 God looks down from heaven to see
if there is anyone who is wise,
anyone who looks to him for help.
3 But everyone has turned away from him.
Everyone has become evil.
No one does anything good.
No, not one person!

4 Those who are evil treat my people like bread to be eaten.
And they never ask for God’s help.
Don’t they understand what they are doing?

5 They will be filled with fear—
a fear like they have never felt before!
People of Israel, you will defeat those who attacked you,
because God has rejected them.
And he will scatter their bones.

6 I wish the one who lives on Mount Zion
would bring victory to Israel!
When God makes Israel successful again,
the people of Jacob will be very happy;
the people of Israel will be glad.

What I wrote has nothing whatsoever to do with God but was directed at those (not necessarily on this site) who simply believe you can take a verse of your choosing and claim it as your own. Seriously, I don't believe that's how it works. Praying for God for healing but please be advised that the healing may not take place in that person's lifetime. I am not really impressed with someone being healed of a hang-nail or a minor headache. If someone does indeed have the gift of healing then let the blind see and those that are crippled walk. Personally, I believe that every act of God no matter what it is or great or small is a miracle. Not at all sure where you are coming from either.

1 Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
