With the girl, I wouldnt say its the holy spirit its some other spirit manifesting. The way she draws attention to herself is disturbing. Shes not speaking in tongues just laughing manically and talking about yoga and hippie talk. She doesnt mention Jesus is the Lord or anything.

The guy arguing over Benny Hinn does not seem drunk maybe just a bit over zealous. But he cant reason with the other guy who prolly has no clue who Benny hinn is.

Am not sure whos taking the video or why this is being filmed as havent watched the whole thing. I do find it off putting when people film in church I mean I dont mind if people record a sermon for others to listen but filming to show people is a different thing. You would also get people that can act or look good on camera and perform, so an element of pretending can come into it.

One thing to be careful of, is when some churches are 'staged'. Then it becomes a show.

Where in the Bible does it say for us to go to a ministry like Benny and preach against him? Even if he is wrong, is that how we are to engage people about him.

I have many friends there. Was the best time of my life. The Jesus Movement, not a drug scene but an awakening, and the Charismatic movement of the Catholic Church. I went to Christ the King Church for the charismatic meetings. First time I thought I heard angel wings fluttering as they sang in the Spirit.

Talk about joy! No laughter then. Came later. I was spoiled forever and denominations without the move of Holy Spirit....never went again.

That area and even down to a town called Nappanee and beyond to the area of Warsaw is full of God fearing, Bible thumping believers from all denominations. And in that entire area, all denominations get along great. Never seen any dispute or using the pulpit to slam others, and weekly most pastors/priests from all God believing churches get together for several reasons. Generally to create a bigger food bank for the hungry, to strategize community events, to share God together as one community.

I definitely agree that this particular area is very deep in faith and in touch with God. And I definitely agree that I have never found anywhere else in the USA like it.

...and something else I like that they do in that area...(my Dad, my Uncle, several friends, other family members and many who just live in that surrounding area)...their funerals have now become (at the request of the one who passed away) a worship service. I've seen a couple people actually accept Christ and become filled with the Holy Spirit, and several who were saved become infilled with the Holy Spirit.

When I say infilled, I do not mean they lost or the Holy Spirit left them. I mean, their fire was literally rekindled by God Almighty woooohooooooo!! I absolutely love this idea of a funeral being used as a platform to meet God!! We are not mourning the dead, we are celebrating their victory by opening the invitation to those attending to have what we have :)

Amen!!

I know Elkhart well. Between Elkhart and Mishawaka is a little town called Osceola. The best gage shop (Jus-Rite Engineering) in Indiana is located there. One of the owners back then (Jon Binns), worked with/for my Uncle and Dad at Fisher Body (General Motors) in Marion, Indiana. He retired and found two other people wanting a shot at their own business and they started Jus-Rite Engineering. Since Jon knew my Uncle and Dad (worked for them), he let me do my apprenticeship there :)

Side note: I know Edwardsburg and several cities in Michigan since they had businesses that were Jus-Rite Engineering customers :)
I grew up in Detroit and later lived in Lansing, Michigan. My wife has a cousin in Goshen, Indiana and she was born in Muncie and lived there for a good part of her childhood. We were there visiting a couple years ago in October. It was fun to see the Amish ride their horse driven buggies. We stopped at an Amish produce stand and bought a large white pumpkin for Halloween.

but I still like that nice charcoal gray

I know a few areas around Ocala/Lakeland, Florida that are definitely strong believers. There are also a few Bible Universities there. The Assemblies of God has a university there.

Yes, there are some amazing features about that general area. And of course, Goshen runs right through Dunlap and then into Elkhart. Nappanee, Wakarusa, Angola, Shippsewana, Middlebury, Wawaka are all good Amish towns to visit.

I used to kick it on Michigan Ave which is called 8-mile hahaha

And poor ole Muncie, a city of promise, great industry with manufacturing and tool & die. And last I saw, ran down as bad as Detroit :(

The great MidWest baby!!

Your'e missing the point of the text.
Maybe it is you who is missing the point of the text.
What behavior would cause us to conclude that someone is drunk?
Something was happening to make some of the eyewitnesses believe that these folks were drunk.
Based on behavior in the video, posters are saying they think this woman is drunk.
I think these things are connected. The culture shock of those not familiar with these things
is telling them that the Holy Spirit doesn't do that sort of thing. True or false?

The truth is this: Those who, for whatever reason, choose to hold their experience up above scripture cannot be reasoned with, because they're so hungry for evidence they can see they don't realize by faith that God is with them.
That is an ugly and divisive position.

The Jewish Apostles performed miracles to prove their message to the Jews. Can you post Scripture where these signs went out to the Gentiles with no Jew involvement?
You haven't heard of Cornelius?

Ocala is said to have a church on every corner. Am in Citra now. Not the town, country.

Many are being called to Ocala from the north. Not sure why yet.

I was thinking Kia Sedona, White until I saw this one. Has all the features I wanted except for the moonroof. Plus it's the right size for me. And the dogs. :)

Why aren't you understanding that they thought they were drunk because they spoke different, and diverse languages. NOT because they laughing maniacally. or rolling around on the ground and other such behavior.

Ya know, I really never looked at this stuff that deeply before, but I can tell you whatever the heck this is it ISN'T from the Holy Spirit. I'm really starting to believe all this charismatic, pentecostal, NAR, or whatever name you want to call it, is of a spirit that is not from God.

Watch this video and tell me these people are Holy Spirit filled:

How did you arrive at that conclusion?
The Bible tells us that some of the eye witnesses thought they were drunk.
For the third time... What behavior would cause us to conclude that someone is drunk?
If you were out at the mall and heard some people speaking a foreign language would you assume they were drunk? (nope)
