No one has stated that Rep. Omar does not have the right to ask for leniency and you deflecting (yet again) is nothing but fluff on your part.

The issue here is that Rep. Omar is actively sympathetic to a young man who wants to "fight and kill on behalf of the Islamic State" and continuously spews her anti-semitic vitriol.

And you can't seem to figure out that Rep. Omar is anti-semitic ... and see Rep. Omar in the light which she herself outwardly portrays.

There are two groups of people that need to be concerned with Omar, 1) Jews. Liberal Jews better wake up and quick. Anti-Semitism has been well hidden in the Dem party until the new radicals came in. Finally the truth is being told. Never again can happen again when you are asleep. 2) Homosexuals. If they think Christians not agreeing with their lifestyle choice is bad ask Ms. Omar what SHE thinks ought to be done with gays. Waiting to see when she'll slip and tell the truth on that one.

As far as Muslims there are two types, those that follow the Koran and those who don't. Those that follow the Koran are radical, those who are secular or more modern are considered infidels with the rest of us and worthy of death.

ISIS was beheading Christians left and right under Obama. Run out of their homes living on the side of mountains. No one should ask for leniency,nor should they get it. Anyone having anything to do with ISIS ought to be hung high as an example to the next one who tries it. That includes the woman who married ISIS men and now wants back into the country.

Because she is an American citizen, Rep. Omar may exercise her right to ask for leniency.

I do not agree with Rep. Omar (that leniency should have been granted to defendant Daud), and I surely would not have requested leniency for him.

However, I will defend a person's right as an American citizen to make the request. There may come a time when persecution against believers will result in my having the need to exercise my right to request leniency on behalf of a brother or sister in Christ. And surely want to have that right.

She again is a distraction.
Her role is to rile people up and so far it is working.
The USA is heading for conflict, it seems unavoidable.

In 2018, Omar came under criticism for statements she made about Israel before she was in the Minnesota legislature, which the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported had "earned her notoriety in the pro-Israel community."[63][61] In a 2012 tweet, she wrote, “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel."[61][67] The comment, particularly the notion that Israelis had "hypnotized the world," was criticized as drawing on anti-semitic tropes.
