"Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail; and the woman
was of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in
his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb." ( 1 Samuel 25:3)
Nabal was a bad husband, and person, but his wife Abigail was with good understanding, so she manage live with her bad husband side till the day God kills her husband Nabal. And after that king David married Abigail.
If Abigail would have divorce from her obviously bad husband, she most likely would not be called today as a woman of understanding, and most likely David would not never married her.
So in the end faithfulness, was awarded. It takes some endurance and wisdom to solve problems of life, in skillful good ways.
