I'm kind of in a weird "I have no idea what to do" place right now. I'm mourning the loss of our Pastor, which kinda ties in a little bit with missing my dad too... I had a bunch of interviews lined up but it ended up that I didn't do them because I thought God wanted me to go back to school, but then my mother is saying maybe not. So like...am I supposed to look for work or for school?

I feel kinda...useless. Like I can help around the house a bit and I know that mom appreciates that but....what else am I doing? I'm taking living expenses and not doing something to better myself or to head toward getting a job to help her.

I feel sad and stuck.

It would be a shame for you not to put your fine arts degree to work for you. I am hoping that you have little or no student loans to pay off either as they will not simply disappear. Hopefully you went to college on a scholarship of some sort. Regardless, I am sure that there are probably financial considerations that should be addressed. I know that the thought of work stresses you but this is true for most people that work. Sooner or later you will need to have income. I feel bad about your dad as I have loss my dad too but eventually you must move on with your life. One thing you are not and that is useless. Pray for God to give you the strength and courage to be useful. It's the better course of action.

Making life choices can be difficult & sometimes very confusing...
But God wants you to enjoy your life & He doesn't want you to live in fear.
Let indecision come to rest by making choices which allow you to create the very best version of yourself. Always keep in mind that God loves you & He already has a plan for you!

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
(Isaiah 41:10)

Hopefully this makes you feel a little better :)

I pray for you from the Bible:
My life is in your hands. Save me from my enemies and from those who are chasing me. Show your kindness to me, your servant. Save me because of your love. Lord, I called to you, so do not let me be disgraced. - Psalm 31:15-17

God created each one of us for a reason. In your heart, what would you rather do...college or work? Think it out then pursue. Any negative thought can b answered by a Scripture. Forget the word useless, we are children of God.
I pray the Comforter will light the right path for you to take and that the Lord will give you His favor, joy and peace. May the Lord help your mother cheer you on in your decisions, in Jesus' name Amen.

I'm sorry you're feeling so sad right now. It sounds like you are grieving the death of your pastor and grief can be exhausting. It can take away your drive. This is a good time to take care of yourself physically and emotionally.
Pray. Worship the Lord in spite of everything. Share your thoughts with friends. Ask others to pray for you.
Rest. Get a good night's sleep. It can make a big difference.

When someone that we love dies, it can often make us feel like we have to change directions from where we were going; but that's not usually true. You should probably continue doing what you were planning on doing. Stay the course. Finish the race you were running. Put your all into it and reap the benefits of your hard work.
Your pastor probably would have wanted you to do that, right?
All the best to you!
