Today I realized the earth is really 2,000 years old. I thought it was more than that.

Ok 4.5 billion years old

And this:
More than 99% of all species of life forms, amounting to over five billion species,[13] that ever lived on Earth are estimated to be extinct.[14][15]

Okay Poinsetta... this is a little confusing. First you say, "2,000 years old" and then, "4.5 billion years old."

Care to clarify where the first number originated?

This current world heaven age
This current earth/heaven age is around 6500-6700 years old.
This 3rd rock from the sun? It's BILLIONS of YEARS old!
The time from Jesus' birth to his death? About 33 years.
The time from Jesus' birth to now? A little over 2,000 years!

I think the 2,000 years is how long it's been since Jesus was crucified. The earth is supposed to be close to 7,000 years old.,

The world is older than 2000 years. Even Young Earth Creationists would say that. From the creation of the world to the Flood is a period of about 1500 years. The book of Genesis as a whole covers about 2 millennia. The rest of the OT covers around 1000 years of history. Thereafter, there's a period of about 400 years where no written texts from the Bible are recorded. We then start with Jesus birth. From that period until now is a period of about 2000 years. Do the math.

The Sun was created AFTER the Earth in Genesis 1.
Therefore, the Sun is YOUNGER than Earth.
The third rock from the sun IS Earth and it is THOUSANDS of years old. About 6,000 or so, like the rest of the universe.
