I get it. It would seem we use the tool 2 Corinthians 4:18 as one of the spiritual gifts of interpretation a little differently from each other (fingerprints ).
Metaphors as signs are relevant in parables. If it refers to sign gifts, the subject matter, I think it would be relevant
What does the sign of tongues confirm? And not what the purpose of prophecy confirm (believing God)? Faith or no faith. The eternal not seen or the temporal seen ? A sign as a curse or a sign as a blessing?
