We are told to study to be quiet… to be still and know that He is and it is His to fight. Sometimes, the answers are not there. We are told to rebuke and to admonish, to accept with joy when we are so that we can grow. However, sometimes that doesn't come, instead silence, and indifference and you don't know why.

But then I am reminded, it is a blessing to be still... to be quiet, to not ask why, to not yearn to understand...just let it be. After all, when it comes down to it, it is about He, not me.

So... with His help, I pray with trust and care, with hope and love, and with mercy and action, because the God of all is near. I must never allow hurt and bitterness to seep in because than the darkness wins. We are overcomers in Him. Yes..I am so grateful. I take a deep breath and reflect on His love, the One to whom I belong. Eternity is promised, now is for preserving and rejoicing in quiet times with Him.

My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
Isaiah 32:18 ESV

But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
Psalms 31:2 ESV

But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
Psalms 131:2 ESV

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
Zephaniah 3:17 ESV

Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent.
Proverbs 11:12

He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.
Psalms 107:29 ESV

Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness.
1 Timothy 2:11 ESV

the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:26 ESV

and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you,
1 Thessalonians 4:11 ESV

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."
Exodus 14:14 ESV

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
Psalms 46:10 ESV

I am so grateful for reading and writing, for change sometimes but more for acceptance, regardless. They are such a blessing. Thank You Lord!!!

Oh another GREAT ONE!!!

O Lord , my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
Psalms 131:1‭-‬2 ESV

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want.

Really appreciate that. Thank you. To be still...despite the currents (and sometimes storms) swirling this existence is a boon indeed.

Remaining silent and still inside while we are connecting with Him can sometimes be a challenge!
Sometimes when I am in a turmoil or a state of constant activity, I need to step back, find a quiet place and just listen
Thanks for this, great reminder! Now off to a quiet place....Blessings to you!

Amen, yes yes yes, not always easy, huh, but definitely wise, leaning into Him anchoring ourselves in His steady and sturdy strength.
