Actually, women are far more language sensitive. Their reading comprehension is far better than men. Men are more sensory and often need to see or experience or hear for better comprehension.

But men don't dress dogs up in little booties. Women, being language sensitive, misread dog's emotions, but men pick up on it through sight. That's why we wince when we see dressed up dogs. Women think that dog is happy.

Men see this....
So.... read. Don't dress up dogs.

It’s a saying because it’s from woman. The man was too busy to comment.

She’d be beautiful. Beautiful because who she is inside radiates out of her. Fun-loving, understanding and kind. Supportive, respectful and present. Someone I can spend good, quality time with. Freckles. Just lovely overall. Someone I can be passionate about.

There’s always the idea of the perfect one. I understand she may or may not be what I might think. And I also understand everything won’t always be rainbows and butterflies. But, I think if I stick close to what the Word says about her I’ll be able to determine who she may be.

As far as what I’d like to do with her by my side, raise a family, go on small camping trips, hiking, small adventures. I’m very simple and would much rather have richness in relationship than the things of this world.

Well, I didn’t follow instructions very well. Lol.

Things I hope she’d do for me:
Pray for me
Give me unexpected/unsolicited kisses
Rub/scratch my back 😁
Listen to me when I need to talk

You bought a girl a gun? Thats kinda ballsy.. or not fully thought through dont you think?

You gave a girl a gun. Women are emotial beings, you sure thats a good idea? And you find yourself on the singles forum flaunting poetry skills and writing songs like some brad paisley. And she aint gonna find out about all this?

Tell me you bought her blanks lol or you better run!
Ouch...

Thank you all for the lovely answers. I have enjoyed reading them all. Keep em coming, if you will. :giggle::giggle::giggle:

One other thing I have always dreamed of doing with my future spouse is actually sitting together in the dining room table reading the Bible. Like a personal Bible study with just the two of us. I think that would be romantic in a Spiritual sense. :D

Of course, I hope you young men know I was only joking with you, 17Bees and Hungry. If you're anything like my awesome sons, you can take as much as you dish out. I couldn't resist those Billy Madison GIFs. :D hehe

On a more serious day-dreamy note and getting back to poetry:
The movie, Purple Rain was on TV this morning. My favorite part of that movie is when Prince sings, "The Beautiful Ones". Wow. Just WOW!:love::love:

I remember the first time I heard that song in the 80's, it literally stunned me and took my breath away. It still does. Prince takes you to another place with his music and does such an amazing job vocally, humbly baring all of his heart and soul. He builds up to an incredibly powerful height, ultimately screaming and begging for her love. I don't know how any woman could not be moved by his passionate plea for her heart in this fiery love song. ❤ ❤ ❤

You should start a thread, that's a good one, hahaha.
Women always ask those questions that have no correct answers or responses.
They have an uncanny ability of thinking those things up, even at a young age. My daughter does too.

Well I'll cop to the 'young age' part anyway;) lol. The part about women 'always' do something, not reals.
Btw, Does your title mean you have something in your beard? Oops.

You mean to tell me I could have been offended and didn't even know it?? This is disappointing! Here I am a near millennial and completely missed my opportunity to be offended? I could have thrown a real tantrum.

Thats very very sappy.. lol
Sing you a song he wrote? Who is this guy justin bieber?

Write you a poem.. they still make those?

My bad this just seems really really overly romantic. Like hollywood or romance novel type story. Fairytales if you will.. How old are you?
I believe that she is in her late twenties. I also believe that she is romantically inclined and that is always a good thing in starting and maintaining a relationship. Before we were married in 2014 my wife (JesusLives) and I sang each other songs in my Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band thread. This went on for well over a month starting in mid August. No such thing really about being overly romantical, you either are or you are not.

Something like what Charlirenee said. Honorable but romantic and funny who loves God and helps wash the dishes. Lol!
I have done the dishes every day since we were married. Also do most of the grocery shopping. Even cook occasionally too.

My wife and I do this along with prayer and devotion each day. A couple that prays together stays together.
