I recall reading how not to search endless genealogies. Probably because it will have you going in circles without hitting bedrock.

I assume the same rule applies here.
I am just guessing that the path from the wilderness, is different for all.....Not much attention should be paid to exact locations and minor details explained in the Israelites journey.

Thoughts?

I looked into the family tree and found some small mistakes in the Bible, but that doesn't mean the Bible is wrong.I wonder why the author made a small time mistake, and what's interesting is that I found out where this little mistake happened, and after that, the author had not to continue writing the time of family tree.

I think the Israelites journey in the wilderness teaches us not to complain as God leads us through this world, but to trust him in all things.

It is from the genealogies of the Word that the Hebrew scholars calculated the year of creation, going back to Adam. They used the furnished ages given. Whether it was from written genealogy or oral tradition, I do not know.

I do know that sthe actual age of creation since Adam is not complete for some of the genealogies were purposely left out, so we are much closer to the end of the sixth millenium than many may think.

Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 1:3-4 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith.

He also wrote in Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

Neither of these verses are talking about the Old Testament genealogical records, which (among other things) establish the lineage of Jesus of Nazareth. Rather, they are addressing a cultural practice related to certain false teachings prevalent in Ephesus and other Greek communities. The OT genealogies are worth studying, but they support the core message rather than being central to it. One can be a faithful and effective Christian without understanding them in detail.
