This is to help all of us, I’m sure. At some point in our life we must all have turned away from God due to some hurt by the church or just some unanswered questions. So why did you turn away and how did you get back?

By church, you mean people in a church? People will always fail, Christ will never fail us.
Many mistake church membership and participation as the way our faith is practiced, it isn't. Relationship with the person of Christ is how Christianity is practiced.

I've turned away from God more than once-back to the things he delivered me from. I learned that deliverance from God is TRULY deliverance, and that those things no longer have a hold on me.

I don't know how to repent, but at least I know two facts:

Sin is bad and consuming

Only God can fix the problem

Ah! If we can’t separate Jesus from Christians, I’m sure we’d all be atheists.

cant say i have, i have reasons to believe more then most, though i did once curse him at highschool, ah the foolishness of youth, i am sure he never held me to it.
