The world still accepts that murder, theft and such are sins. It's trying to lie about homosexuality, though, which is why more focus is often given to homosexuality. Abortion is in a similar category. The world claims it is acceptable, but it's murder, so it is emphasised moreso than other sins which even the world still recognises as sin for the time being.

Homosexuals need more compassion more than condemnation. Grace first before truth. They feel that they can't do anything because they think they are born that way and they think it is ok since the world accepts and encourages it already because of the LGBT movement. But they don't know that by tolerating their sinful nature, it becomes more and more difficult for them to get out of it. They should know that there is always hope for them to change. Even transgenders have changed and get saved after knowing Jesus.
Rom 1:25-28
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
