Somehow my "inner persona" softened and become "child-like", I saw myself as if I'm a little child "wishing upon a star" or "feeling excited to receive a Christmas gift" as if expecting to see something
special, and I prayed with an inner child, "I want you in my life",
I believe this is what pure love for God is like

the less I "lean on my own understanding", the more my eyes are opened to the fact that I prayed the right way and I prayed flawlessly,

I do agree we are to walk just as He walked.
but, as I said, it is a goal to aim at, not a destination to arrive at, with the arrival bringing salvation, that is why I stand against false teaching lies like your church pushes.

we are forgiven and saved by belief. the walk is something we do BECAUSE we are saved, not to " get there and get it".
AMEN........the root of the problem.....conflating justification with ongoing sanctification while ignoring positional sanctification..........such are the ways of false religions and churches that bind the hands of men by religious hoop jumping........

A bump for the salvation losers.....

The following is a comparison between the bible and salvation losers......and make no mistake...this is exactly what they peddle and or how they butcher the word of God by their losable salvation....

Bible -->I will never leave thee or forsake thee
Salvation Losers ---->Jesus is a liar and will leave us and forsake us

Bible --->We are saved to the uttermost and kept by the power of God through faith
Salvation losers --->The power of God is weak and inept, we are not saved to the uttermost and GOD does not keep us

Bible -->Jesus begins, finishes and completes the work of faith in us
Salvation losers --->WE must maintain our faith because JESUS does not finish and complete the work of faith in us

Bible -->He that believes on the SON is having everlasting/eternal life
Salvation losers --->He that believes and MAINTAINS his belief on the SON is having temporal life based upon what he does or does not do

Bible -->Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith without the deeds/works of the law
Salvation losers -->James out of context tells us we are justified by our works before God

Bible -->It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe
Salvation losers --->It pleased God by works, church membership, baptism, pew jumping, speaking in tongues, back flipping down the isle, saying 57 hail Mary's, taking the Lord's supper, keeping the sacraments and a dozen other religiously zealous man made efforts to save them

Bible -->NOTHING can separate us from the love of GOD
Salvation losers -->Numerous things can separate us from the love of GOD

Bible--->We are in the Son's hand, the Father's hand and NO AN can remove us from that position
Salvation losers -->The above is false, we can remove ourselves because God is weak and inept

Bible -->We are sealed unto the day of redemption
Salvation losers-->The seal of God can be broken because God is weak and inept

Bible --->
Where sin abounds, grace abounds the more
Salvation losers--> We qualify, quantify sin and God's grace only covers those small sins when we mess up and for sure we have never lost it, but eternal security believers lose it because they believe they can live any way they want and live like the devil

Bible --->He that believes on the Son is not condemned
Salvation losers --> Believers are condemned all the time and returned to being goats after becoming sheep

Bible --> I will lose nothing, but raise it up the last day
Salvation losers -->God loses people all the time because he is too weak to keep them saved

Bible--> We are born again from above by INCORRUPTIBLE SEED
Salvation losers --> We are not born of incorruptible seed, because that seed can be corrupted and one die lost after being born again

Bible --> The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable
Salvation losers -->God's free GIFT of salvation can be revoked because GOD will break ALL the above promises and send one to hell after being saved

ETC.............I dare to say that salvation losers are false.....and what they peddle is not of GOD and as blasphemous as it comes......the above is a SMALL sample of scriptural promises that MUST BE DENIED, REJECTED and or SWEPT UNDER THE TABLE to peddle a dime store salvation that cannot be found in the bible and or a dime store salvation that devalues the work, promises and ministry of CHRIST!!!!!!!

However you interpret the Holiness movement, it has always been driven by the goal, as
we can never know how we achieve something only God can judge.

So we are in agreement, and this is my point, you desire to try and create the impression of
a difference when there is not one. And this is what causes me caution, as I desire to encourage
the walk with Jesus as Peter says

1 Peter 1:3-5
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

but there is a division- you and your church teach that one does not receive salvation UNTIL they walked just as He walked.

we are saved by belief in Christ, a mental activity. the walk, bearing fruit, growing in righteousness, however you name it, it occurs AFTER salvation.

again, walking just as He walked is goal to aim at, not a destination to arrive at.

Mr @VCO what does it mean to you to pray without ceasing

Or, what does it look like?

It is conversing with the Lord, any time of any day without ceasing? It is like HE IS YOUR MOST INTIMATE FRIEND, and it is NEVER LIKE HE IS WAY UP THERE IN HEAVEN SOMEWHERE, HE is right their in your heart, and you can have the most intimate conversations with HIM any time you want. WOW! Describes it Best.

Perhaps it can look like this:

OR THIS:

IS HE THAT CLOSE OF A FRIEND TO YOU ? ? ?

Hi gb9,

"you and your church teach that one does not receive salvation UNTIL they walked just as He walked."

I wonder sometimes what is in the hearts of some people. My heart is in one thing, facing the Lords
way and walking there with Him. Our walk in salvation, it is communion with Jesus, it is trust, obedience,
love, faith, hope.

Walking is walking, one step at a time, as the Lord heals, changes and transforms us.
I hope you understand the difference in language I am using here. In a sense heaven is within us, our walk
is the walk of life and fulfilment in Him. I now wonder if we see things in a wrong way, because we are always
growing and developing. So my friend if you are walking with Jesus, Amen, if not, I invite you to ask Him to
walk with you.

We put no limitations or constraints on how and where this walk leads, because that is Gods ways to lead
us where He desires, and it is us to trust and have faith in Him, that at the right time things will happen, Amen.

What's the basic tennants of the Holiness movement?
That we can walk with Jesus in holiness and purity.
That Jesus changes and transforms us, and it is we who limit His work in our lives through unbelief,
rather than trusting and learning to love from the heart as He commands and leads us into.

Each day, the more I speak with people and bond with them, the more I begin to see our experience
tends to predict our future, rather than in faith, we believe what God can do with open hearted people.

12 disciples, 3 years of friendship and ministry, and the world was changed, through the anointing of
the Holy Spirit. A group of terrified inquisitive men, turned into courageous people who gave their lives
just to share the good news of Jesus and His salvation. Now that is power and overcoming, that is transformation
and dynamic focus, Amen.

Not sure, but sounds like a cult to me....
Funnily those who deny the sermon on the mount was spoken to Gods people so that they might know
how to walk in His ways, seems precisely what you have described.

The more I learn, it is not the theology or ideas that make a difference, but spiritually where individuals
are, and what the next step of faith they need to take is. And often that next step is so profound, everything
changes after it, and they wonder why they never saw this before.

For some it is meeting Jesus for the first time. For others it is maybe knowing repentance and true cleansing
and a deep worship and gratitude that follows. For others it might be an infilling of the Holy Spirit in worship
and praise, so that they come to know nothing in the world can stop them from experiencing Jesus in their
hearts and His love and victory working through them.

God is so wonderful and gracious, so generous and open, little wonder it is our faith that is often too small
to even grasp the depth and wisdom He wants to bring us, and where He can leads us, Amen, thank you Jesus.

Nice try PETERJENS........no, what we reject is your self saving dogma that denies eternal salvation and equates it to a dime store dancing monkey in Bombay with a street organ player playing for coin.....!!!!
