This "hate" thing is really out there and I am really saddened that you too have fallen into this accusation that is really a knee jerk reaction and definitely based on personal unfounded assumptions about another.:(
Since you are reletively new here. And did not experience the extreme hate filled rants of amillenials against dispensationals. (Talk to anyone who was here back then and you will see how many times people like me were said to be unsaved because of our belief in this area) I will consider you ignorant of what I was talking about.

One thing about me and people should see. When I see something like this which could be considered offensive to many people. I stand up. It does not matter what side you are on. Because otherwise I would be a hypocrite. Is that what I should be?

There are only two cities in history to take the name Babylon....one is in ruins the other is located on LONG ISLAND New York.......... ;)
The GREAT Harlot.

That is not new york. New York is not the center of false christianity, who claims herself to be the bride.

Just gonna throw this out.......for every ONE prophecy concerning the 1st coming of Christ there are EIGHT that deal with his second coming.....

WHY is it the MOST misunderstood and argued topic.....as much as we know about the 1st coming we should KNOW Eight TIMES more about the second...........

and this is a VERY hard truth.....in my 52 years with 45 of that BEING in churches with believers of every level of maturity and faithfulness I have found that MOST...probably as high as 95% will ARGUE what they have been ALWAYS taught or BELIEVED without one ounce of personal, indepth study beyond an occasional cursory read of the bible.........

Not saying this to stir anger and or arguments.....it is just a simple fact.......and I personally know pastors in probably 15 to 20 different states and 5 different countries and they have all said the same thing...............

The bible leads to ONE conclusion concerning every truth that can be dug out..........just saying..........sure we can come from twenty different directions in learning that ONE truth, however ONE truth is exactly what IT HOLDS and lays bare......
This goes for EVERYONE.

Claiming we hold exact truth in unknown future events. Would be a major mistake..I think we can use jesus first advent, which had so many prophesies concerning it to understand we should not think we know 100 % exactly how it is going to happen.

Well then you have let the past behaviour of other people colour the interpretation of what was said.

A terse, even angry response, in no way indicates hate, a disagreement on who has suffered more in the world, in no ways means hate (as I have been accused), and if a terse response was indicative of hate, I would have to assume that you, @dcontroversal, @crossnote and others hate me and the thought has never crossed my mind.

Attributing emotion is very subjective and rarely productive.

Its what you say, And how you say it.

Saying I am right. And no one will change my view. Is no better than one of them saying they are right, and no one will change their mind.

Its closed minded, And in effect tells everyone else they are pretty stupid if you do not agree with me..

Well, it is what it is I guess

Next time someone does that to me, state that I am wrong with a terse voice, I would like you to come to my defense....that would make me soooo happy!!!:)

I have done it in the past.. Maybe not for you. But it drives me nuts when people does that, especially if they then do not give an explanation.

So many things wrong with this post........one assumption after another......

I never said I was right.....just this is my conclusion and it is not arrogant to say I will not argue this........nor did I say or imply anyone was stupid......and I have said 100 times in 5 years if someone can show me I am always open to changing my mind.......You have become VERY very defensive the last year man....and you assume many things including motive.....what gives???? P.S. I am not mad nor angry at you nor being mouthy...just wondering what is in your craw......

Let us look at Daniel' vision of eh Little Horn and why I have concluded he will be a Muslim and why I believe the god peddled and pushed by the MAN of SIN, A.K.A. the 1st Beast of Revelation, the Son of Perdition (THE ANTI-CHRIST)<---so called and note definite article...NOT A, but THE........

Daniel 11:36-39

vs. 36 What the KING does <---MAGNIFIES himself above EVERY god while mouthing the GOD of gods and he will PROSPER until the indignation is done or finished..... NOTE....2nd Thessalonian 2:4, Daniel 7:25

Verses 37-39 These two verses in my view gives us numerous clues to the background identity of the one who will be identified as the KING that magnifies himself above God and speaks against the God of gods....note the following and be honest with the facts is what is said......

First point VERSE 37

Neither shall he regard the GOD (capital G) of HIS FATHERS
........nor the desire of women, nor regard any god (small g) for he shall magnify himself above all.

The bolded is my concern in this particular search.......My view....the G is capitalized and used with a definite article....it is speaking of the ONE true GOD which is also mentioned in the first VERSE and within the context.....SO...the context is speaking of the God of heaven and THE FATHERS of this particular man.....I believe this is a clue.........and one reason why I believe he will be a Muslim.......

His Fathers ---->Abraham and Ishmael <----Plural...Both KNEW GOD, and even GOD blessed Ishmael and made of him a great nation (12 tribes) of which come the Arabs and from the Arab people ISLAM/MUSLIMS

Neither shall he regard the GOD OF HIS FATHERS

NEXT point VERSE 38-39

But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces and a god whom his FATHERS knew NOT shall he honor with gold and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge, and increase with glory;..........

The GOD he shall honor, scrutinize, recognize, acknowledge, have respect for (all found within definition of acknowledge) while promoting, increasing, and make to multiply (indication is number or adherants) will be a god his FATHERS did not KNOW.......a STRANGE god......

Abraham and Ishmael would not have known the modern version of god worshiped by Muslims...

SO...we have a man that will be lifted up as god, worshiped as god, blaspheme god and this particular man will scrutinize, recognize, acknowledge, worship and promote a god that was not known by HIS FATHERS, while having NO respect for the ONE TRUE GOD that HIS FATHERS worshiped. (One true God evidenced by the verses themselves)

A very brief summation of why I believe he will be a Muslim, worship and promote ALLAH and be Islamic in nature and scope.

More to come........

Seems to me the AC will be a Roman or one from Romes jurisdiction in 70AD...

Daniel 9:26 KJVS
[26] And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

The ones who destroyed the Temple were Romans so the 'prince that shall come' will be of that sector/province.

Mr. dcon... how have you viewed Rev 17:6 with regards to Babylon, Long Island being the "Mystery Babylon" since this city certainly cannot be drunk with the blood of the saints?
