You know you're getting old when you tell people you are younger than you are... not because you are deliberately lying about your age, but because you forgot your age changed.

I'm actually 41.

That happens to me all the time.

Yeah. This has been happening to me since I hit my 40s. Suzanne was born a few months before me, I think. If I can’r Remember my age, I can wait for her to post hers again. 😛

I have forgotten my own birthday a few times. There have been at least a couple of instances when one of the ladies at work asked me what I was doing for my birthday and I had completely forgotten it was coming up. I usually remember the birthday of my family members.

I was a Toys R Us kid for a good part of my adult life. Never did decide what I wanted to be when I was grown up. Basically, I just went with the flow.

Don't rush it. It goes super fast! Before you know it you're in your forties!
And then your fifties................ (which are just a little over a week away)

Don’t worry, when you get around that corner, you will go senile and
become like a little child again
! Lol
You seem to imply that people should have stopped being like a child at some point before then.

I'm 31 and sometimes I feel like it's not going by fast enough.

That might be a good thing. Many young people are stuck in Minecraft.
My nephew used to play that all the time, but I think he's moved on to other games now. :)
