I'm having surgery on Monday

I was supposed to have it earlier in the year but stupid stuff happened and I'm having it on Monday. I'm having a bariatric surgery, more specifically a
Gastric Sleeve Surgery. It's a life changing surgery and hoping that it will lead me to having a healthier life in the future and also hope that I can resists urges to not be healthy. Please pray for this surgery to go well, it's my first ever major surgery, it hasn't sunk in yet but I know once I'm on the bed that I will be terrified.

Father please help Socreta93 in his surgery help him not be terrified about it I also ask Lord to please bless the doctors with great wisdom and skills for the surgery. Heal restore protect his wounds from infection. Be with him always as he recovers Lord and help him to take care his health and live a healthy life in Jesus name Amen ❤

Hi I know someone who had this surgery, it took about a year for things to
fully settle down afterwards, but they look amazing and now are so much
more healthy and mobile, more active. The type 2 diabetes has gone and they
no longer have and knee and hip joint problems.

They do need to have Vit B12 injections as they can’t absorb enough of that from
their food any more. But apart from that they are fine.

For the first 4 months it was a bit of a learning curve, learning what to eat, how much
they could manage to eat etc. At first just a few teaspoonfuls of food would fill them up
but they were later able to eat small meals.

Hope it all goes well for you and that just as you are being repaired and restored
physically. That you will also know God’s restoration emotionally and spiritually. 😊

I'm bumping this prayer request from Socreta93. There's been no follow up since the operation and am apprehensive about results. The surgery (very invasive and extensive) was scheduled for June 10, so if you're out there recovering Socreta, let us know! Otherwise, I pray for Socreta's safe and healing recovery.
