All over the world in these last days the race is on between Satan and Jesus. Satan is destroying mainstream Christianity through liberalism and tolerance of heresies. When comparing the different versions of the Bible, we notice major differences. For example, In Matthew chapter 17 (KJV) Jesus talks about casting out a devil...

Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

This verse is not in the NIV. What scripture do we suppose the devil would like to take out from the word of God? the one that talks about about prayer and fasting, so no one can cast him out.

There is less anointing in many versions, they are watered down, verses omitted. The devil can't completely destroy the word of God, so what did he do? he compromised it as was his device from the beginning...

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

It is amazing the amount of different Bible versions out there. A recent trip to the Bible section in the book store revealed so many as the men's devotional, the Catholic, the NIV, not even sure if there was a KJV but did see a NKJV, amplified, message bible, ESV, and the list goes on. If Satan can get us out of unity, not having a scripture that's the same. What Bible would a beginner know to choose, they may be overwhelmed and walk away. What dis-unity and confusion this brings.

-God bless!

It's not a race at all. I read the last page; I know with certainty Who wins. He wins because He already won, at the foundation of the world.

If you have a concern about Bible versions, I'd encourage you to do some research on the subject.

I never imagined I would see a day where people think God is so weak and helpless he can be overpowered by an english translation of his word..

I though God could overcome all things, and as you said, he would..

Its sad.

The enemy is doing all he can to water down God's word, as the OP explains.

Thank you for your input.

God is the ALMIGHTY, and has indeed provided an English version pure for us, it is the KJV.

Thank you for your input.

(facepalm)

You really need to do some research on Bible versions. If you prefer the KJV, wonderful; stick with it, but please don't push it on others, because there are really good reasons to reject the KJV as "an English version pure (sic) for us". If your only reason is avoiding confusion, then should be reading Greek and Hebrew, or the Vulgate, or Tyndale at the latest.

The reason many versions leave out Matthew 17:21 is because this scripture is disputed and believed added by the early church. That is not the only disputed scripture. That is why we need the HS to help us with doctrine. That is also why we should refrain from interpreting every line of scripture. If it was added, best not to try and interpret it. :)

It is helpful to me to have several versions of the Bible open when I am seeking a Biblical Truth. Since there is only one Truth, I try to glean from scripture what that one Truth is. The NIV has always been my go to version but as of late I am finding out that it is watered down a little. Other versions are better for clarity but I think an individual has to find a version that speaks to them, one that with the help of the Holy Spirit, guides them to the one Truth that shows them the Heart of God. Just an opinion everyone...

Truly Satan & Co. are busy expanding their church opposed to the church of God.
Look at the religious fervour of the politically correct who bleat on continuously how climate change will kill us all, but have no
concern whatsoever over legalising infanticide.
No climate change ain't gonna kill us but moral change is the murderer.
Satan is busy destroying mainstream and 'evangelical' Christianity with all manner of heresies and false doctrines.
The prosperity gospel and the gospel of praise and worship music won't be worth much when the world is on fire.
Some churches do promote homosexual love as acceptable before God and have such as pastors and ministers; even "marrying"
homosexuals before God at the altar.
Meanwhile Satan & Co. are laughing and rejoicing.

It is all very cliché to say that Jesus has already won, but in the meantime he who is a liar and a murderer from the beginning is
killing millions of souls in what time is left [until the very last day].

You do know that Satan needed permission from God to torment Job?

They are not equal opposites....We all know who always wins if a battle is desired. 1 is undefeated.

As for relating politics....Why do so many people like to lump individuals into groups with exactly the same views? There is a 3rd viewpoint in politics that does not adhere to forced list of beliefs like a cult does...It is an independent which is exactly where the dominant part of the USA is.

320,000,000 in USA
129,000,000 voted left or right in 2016 election
171,000,000 fall into the independent or I don’t give a ____ category.

Check your math, friend. There are far more than 20 million Americans not eligible to vote. :)

What dis-unity and confusion this brings.
That was the whole idea. Satan sows discord among brethren, and a multitude of Bible versions is a sure way to do that. It is not just the quantity but the quality also, since any Bible based upon corrupted critical texts (which are based upon corrupted Hebrew and Greek manuscripts) will also be corrupt.
