Please read my post again and stop with the strawman. I have not said Homosexuality is an unforgivable sin But God did call it an Abomination His words, not mine. Your point is misguided because I have not said such a thing and one who is homosexual is saved they are not Homosexual anymore. There are no gay Christians. As there are no drug addicted Christians We do not Identify with the sin we are saved from our identity in Christ.
I was not accusing you of having said it, in fact I was VERY CLEAR that someone else had. So any straw man is yours, mister moderator.

The false narrative that is going is being loving. No, it is being supportive.
This is exactly what has been stated throughout this thread by many ...... I guess some truth can never be stated enough.

I do not understand your comments on this. Jesus was just stating that worldly affairs (including marriage) would be going on as per usual when the end comes.

He was not,

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

the context here is they were eating and drinking marrying and giving in marriage Read Gen 6 to understand what Jesus said in verse 37.

They were partying sinning orgies and sexual perversion they did marriage without meaning. A Mockery. Gen 6 account was not business, as usual, it was SIN that God flooded the earth.

first off you did not respond to the other person nor did you inform me that there are those who. You just said

"Homosexuality is not an unforgivable sin, " in your opening post.

How can someone be a practicing Christian, while they're bumping nasties with another of the same gender? Horror.png

Jesus reached out and won those HE spoke to, Jesus never participated in the celebration of sin. HE never endorsed a sin. Jesus attended a Marriage between one man and one woman. Jesus would not attend a gay wedding. If you think not attending a gay wedding or the reception is hiding? I'm not the one who has not gone to a gay wedding or reception and those who have asked to go not know why I will not do so. The one hiding are those weak tossed in their ways Christians who do not want to offend and be PC. instead of speaking what God said Do not do in love. The false narrative that is going is being loving. No, it is being supportive.
It’s not about celebrating sin, it’s about getting the Lords word known.

It’s like in the song- You don’t love God if you don’t love your neighbor😊.

I say loving your neighbor cannot be done from ones safe place.

Oh yes, like how I stated that I came into this thread and posted originally to support my brother in Christ and then was falsely accused by a certain someone who wanted to dictate to me what I should be talking about, and then acted like he had some right to tell me what I should be addressing, while he repeatedly refused to address questions I put to him concerning things he said which were plainly false.

I never heard that interpretation before. Life as usual includes sin, so, I can see it has merit.

OK, so HOW exactly, does the Lord's word get known at a gay wedding? Especially if no one speaks up but only sits there like a little door mouse and observes the sin without speaking against it?

Ok and how long did you do that for.
Did you marry any christians.
What did you feel or think about the gay weddings up the road.
Are you still in Vegas.

I knew a lady in church who owned a boutique hotel b and b with her husband and they hosted wedding parties, but her husband was an unbeliever. It was more of a business. She died and it got sold. But i dont know if they did gay weddings. People came to stay at her place and take their wedding photos there. It was a beautiful french style country estate.
I dont think she was able to preach to anyone but to show hospitality.

The only thing is that hospitality came with a cost so only the very wealthy could afford it. I think she may have been against gay weddings but who knows if they were willing to pay maybe they wouldnt have turned them away.

The thing is you can just pay to get married these days. It doesnt seem people go through any ore marital counselling they just show up with the cash and if both want it with at least another witness and they are of age, who can stop them. And now the laws have been changed for same sex, so thats not stopping people either.
Thats why some peoole come to my country to get married cos theres no law against it.
I worked a the chapel From 2000-2007. Yes we married plenty of Christians, often because their families tried to hijack the wedding to a different vision than the couple had themselves so they ran away and eloped in private. Often also they came to realize they could travel to Vegas see wonderful shows eat great food and get married for less tha the wedding alone would cost. For a nominal fee the wedding could be seen online live at home by family and friends. Each pastor was allowed to introduce him or her self and was also to decline to marry if he or she thought something was off like a marriage for illegal purposes like immigration. Or if the customer was under the influence or incoherent.

We also offered hot air balloon, helicopter and private in room wedding packages. When we just sent a minister and a photographer to witness. Only one is required by Nevada state law. We even did apostilles where we contacted their embassies to confirm that the wedding in fact did occur and was legitimate according to US laws.

I had a lady friend that worked at the other chapel and she would share about it and laugh because it was a farce. I knew a straight Nazarene pastor that tolerated his gay bosses because the money was good. He only did straight weddings himself and gay weddings were still invalid at the time. And all weddings required a license issued by the county courthouse first. It was not pretend. and we endorsed and sent a copy back to the court via courier daily. They Are open everyday.

I live in tornado alley Oklahoma USA now.

I respect your opinion and I don't know that song but I do know what Jesus said and the word of God. The context:

you mean to tell me you go to the gay wedding reception to get the word out? BUT you would not get the word out at the wedding?
what is the difference? Proclaiming not to sin before they do sin or telling them what they just did is a sin? You won't get the Word of the Lord known at an ungodly wedding but you will have success after they are married?
