Reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode where an avid reader who works at a bank spends his lunches reading in the bank vault, one day the end of the world comes and everything is ruins and he is the last human, he his so excited, he has all this time to read...but when he gets to the public library his glasses fall off and he steps on them. :(

It is just the worst, saddest ending!!!
Yep, I've seen that one.

I know there is a dissertation on Revelations having been written before 70 AD....from someone in the Reformed Church/Presbyterian group
The site states this:

Date of Revelation We date the book of Revelation some time during the reign of Emperor Domitian (AD 81-96). There are several reasons for this dating.

The writer of dat book is or was :

"he is currently finishing a master's degree in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. "

Which is a "subsidiary" of the E Free church so he is already being indoctrinated into the Darby school of "theology".

Got to toe the company line to get the "masters".

Dr. K. Gentry is the chap who did his dissertation on the pre AD70 view I believe.

(Luke 23:28 But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. )

I think this is such a powerful section, as Jesus was being led away after seeing Pilate and woman were crying He turns and tells them exactly what is about to happen.

The days are coming..... plain as day!!
It is so powerful, I don't think anyone addressed the beauty of how it fits into a 1st century application.

You guys can laugh, mouth, make snide remarks all you want and two things are obviously clear, yea three

a. The end did not come and go in 70 A.D. which is retarded

b. 1949 years later the planet, man, history is continuing to unfold and get worse and worse

c. There is a plethora of prophecies that have yet to take place

But hey, carry on with your delusional belief the end came and went in 70 A.D...see how that goes for you in the future......

Jesus said not one jot or tittle could pass until everything was accomplished. This happened with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple and the end of old covenant Israel. We have been living in the new heavens and earth (not a physical place) for 2,000 years. God bless you.

If this is the new heavens and new earth than I would have to say that I prefer the old heavens and the old earth.

Hmm when did the resurrection of the just and unjust happened?
Apparently, that is a minor detail that is not worth mentioning. It must be since we are living in the new heavens and new earth there are no longer any that are unjust. I thought that the just were going to get a reward or treasure or something. I want my stuff.

They will come up with some more bs to explain it away......like...it is not really happening...it is symbolic and cannot be from God because the end came and went in 70 A.D......
