NASCAR Race at Daytona today........... BIG ONE (wreck) takes out 19 cars, most of the favorites.......then lightening causes race to be red flagged, rain moved in, more lightening and rain........RACE CALLED

A 20 year old young man. Justin Haley (who is almost unknown) in a unknown Owners car ( #77) WINS because he was in 1st place when the red flag came out! First ever win at the Cup level........He was a nice young man, spoke of praying a lot, but wouldn't let himself hope too much that he would be the winner.

It was just nice to see.......

Luke 24:4) And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: 5) And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

I serve a risen Savior
He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living,
Whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy;
I hear His voice of cheer;
And just the time I need Him
He’s always near.

He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart.

I want to answer those who are looking for a fight, God bless you, you need a cool drink of some
soothing type, and to recognise fear creates a flight or fight response, so ones desire to fight comes
most likely from a fear that you might lose something you care very much about.

Following Jesus is hard, because He asks us to trust Him and put our fears on the altar and trust Him
to bring us the resolution. And praise the Lord, He always does, if we are willing to listen.

I'm not too sure that following Jesus is hard because He said that His yoke is easy and His burden light. Apparently, Jesus does most of the heavy lifting for us.

I have a little story to illustrate what I mean.
I went climbing on a climbing wall. I used an automatic harness, where as you climb it tightens
the safety rope, so if you fall it will slow your descent. The climb was 15meter or 45ft.
At the top I simply could not jump off, because it was trusting the mechanism, though I had
put my life in its hands. I climbed back down.

So the act of trusting is hard, knowing it is a real risk, though in another way once done, it either
works or you fall. And once you trust it is easy, because you find your trust works.

I can say, whatever I want in the speak your mind thread.

Life can be so mundane sometimes, especially people who crave creativity.
Are we robots, or are we human?
Are we free, or are we slave?
Do we thirst for every second of life, or just the days we have off from responsibility?
Is self expression the thing of the past, or the thing of the future?
Should we go forward blindly into the unknown, or seek a path frequently taken?
Is a step backwards only for kings and queens?
Where is the shift-alt-delete keys for when life has stalled?
What are the options that are not easily seen?

Isaiah 55:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
