Ray Stevens was a crackup.
On the Christian side check out the comedy team of Isaac Airfreight. They were popular way back in the late 70's early '80's quite good...

I wonder why it’s called a “figure of speech.” What does that mean? Like I know it means a saying but where did the term “a figure” of speech??

Steph "fiqure" means to go suppose,consider,infer,gather, etc it is an informal saying!.

I'm sipping mine even as we speak. Straight up for me too but it's not hot as it was made yesterday. This must be heresy or something to that affect. On the plus side it is strong though. Two out of three ain't bad.
