I am praying. You want to share what is going on? To talk a bit in this thread. I don't want to pry, so no worries if not. I am praying but also sometimes when things are heavy it is nice just to have fellowship with others, to visit, to laugh, to share, and even sometimes to cry.

Today, I had a heated discussion with my oldest daughter, then had another small incidental thing happen that had my mind starting to go down a rabbit hole of self pity (just the truth). I was bathing in a pool of bless my heart, lol. Anyway, I ended up having a light hearted conversation with another, just listening to her share here silly run in with a huge walking stick bug, lol. Before I knew it, things started to shift. I think just because I redirected and visited with another. I ended up taking my humbled self to my daughter to apologized after. Sooo... if you want to just pow wow, I want you to know my prayers and interest are there for you, k?

I know major depression isn't that easily resolved, so I am not diminishing your experiences, not at all. I have just noticed your threads and am glad you are reaching out. I do encourage one on one professional christian therapy or counseling. You may even need some medical help. Mostly though, I pray you are calling out to the Lord, for He loves you so very much. Sending you love and hugs in Christ.

Well, lingering pain is not easy to dispense of sometimes. I am not sure I understand your question...but maybe just start talking about other things, keep it light and listen to them and as you start to feel comfy and trust the person more, you can start to share. Being vulnerable isn't always easy. I understand completely!!!

Start by writing down everything that is stressing you. Get it all out on paper. Then go to God in prayer about what you wrote.

He understands everything. His understanding is beyond measure. You don't have to be ashamed with God.

And even if you can't explain things, just go to a quiet place or close your door and cry out to Him: Lord You see what I am going through, You see what's troubling my mind and my emotions. Lord please help me.

If you committed a sin ask God for forgiveness.

That's how the process starts. And in faith, you just have to decide in your mind that you will move on from whatever happened. What's done is done. You can't change the past.

Since I don't know enough about your situation, I can't comment further. But getting things out on paper and talking to God about every thing is the best place to start.

Hello, Annaizabel. I’m sorry to hear about your battle with depression. Be assured I’m praying, asking God to surround you with His infinite love, bring healing and give you strength to overcome your issues.

Also, I know that Focus on the Family can provide a free phone consultation with a licensed counselor if you call this number 855-382-5433. You might be interested in doing some reading, too: bit.ly/2IQXbgB. Hang in there!
