Water Heater Blessing

Two weeks ago our, I have tenants, water heater went out. The Gas Co man said it was the coupler, costing $250. I decided to apply to the Energy Assistance Program here. They initially said they were backed up and it could take months. So I asked one of my prayer groups to agree w/me in prayer for this to happen soon. The following Monday they came out and within a week I got a door replaced, new doorknobs, a new wall heater, and a brand new water heater oh and smoke alarms good for 10 yrs.
God is so good and is our provider, His grace is sufficient for me, Amen.
Just wanted to pass on some good news, PTL!

For starters there are some kids at the children's hospital who need some intervention...

My bathroom sink is clogged. Got a few bulbs out in the kitchen too. Ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms quit. Toilets need float replacements. One tub in bathroom doesn't drain properly. Light in one of the bathrooms has a bad fixture. Exhaust fan in downstairs half-bath inoperative. Tiles in shower stall broken. Ice maker in fridge don't work. Gonna solve the ceiling fan, kitchen lights, and toilet float issues today. Moving forward one step, two steps backward. Such is life.

Tab, it's been nearly a week since I first read your post. I have found myself thinking about it many times this week and continuing to be encouraged and blessed by it. How wonderful, how great is our God!!!! He blesses us and even goes ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!

it means we have wolves in sheep clothing here. The enemy fears christians gathering together in peace and harmony like this. So he sends helpers to mock us

'He gives us exceedingly abundantly above what we ask or think' Eph 3:20. I like taking God at His word and our faith plays a big part. We do need praise reports as well as prayer requests, Amen. I'm glad you are encouraged by this testimony of His goodness and care for us. We did go w/o hot water for 2 wks but everyone here pulled through alright, lol.

How right you are. God is good and the enemy doesn't want us to know exactly how good and true He is. Anything He says we can have or do, we need to believe it, Amen. Thx for you insightful comment, God bless!

I usually have to double check too (make sure I'm not crossing 2 or more verses together AND that it's worded correctly).
But for some reason this time, I JUST COULDN'T think of what it was or any key words to look it up with.
I just knew the fact that He gives "above and beyond" (well those words weren't helping in a search, lol.
