Sadly I have come to think people who hate osas are against Calvinism and that’s their beef. They think it is a Calvinist teaching. So they must stand against it

Sad that they are so busy trying to defeat a doctrine they hate they can’t see the truth of security in Christ
There is your spin again.
OSAS has nothing to do with Calvinism, and based on your other commentary you know that.

It is against the Bible teaching.

Are you saying the God holds sin against us?

If our faith in Christ who died for all our sins then we are forgiven for all our sins.

You do understand that salvation is based upon believing all your sins have been paid for and forgiven... Jesus did not do an incomplete work.

Paid in full is clear.....why does the Holy Spirit convince the world of Sin <--because they do not believe on Christ.....sin is not the issue....faith is the issue

Hebrews 10:17: “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

If people would just accept by faith the legal implications of five truths

a. Justified
b. Imputed righteousness of Christ
c. It is finished
d. Redeemed by the blood
e. When I see the blood I will pass over you

It’s against your teaching and the term osas is a Calvinist term. Just shows how much you know

God knew every sin you would commit before you were born

A little study on theology would help your thinking

Please don't try to spin this. We have enough of that male bovine residue, already.
I well understand scriptures.
Pray tell...who will ask G-d for forgiveness of your future sins if you don't?
Pray tell .....why does the Lord's daily prayer include...."forgive us of our trespasses as we for give those who trespass against us".....et.al. ?
You may wish to revisit that element of scripture interpretation.

Preston, I used to pray that way. Now, I just thank Him for forgiving us. We don't have to list our faults. God know all about us. We must view Christ's sacrifice as a finished work. welcoming.png

We cant lose Christ's Salvation because God doesnt see us he sees his son and if we have been given his spirit we are given eternal life This is the record That God has given us eternal life and this life is in his son 1st John 5:11 And we are witness on earth of this if we have the spirit of God because the word is truth The witness in earth is the spirit the water and the blood. These agree in one. I rejoice that God is my savior and Draw deeply from the wells of Salvation I hope so do you. Therefore with joy shall you draw deeply from the wells of Salvation;
Isaiah 12;3 Believe God Gives eternal life thru his son

Those who are saved still work though not for salvation. In the end God will see the good He's done through you, and He will get the glory for that. If in the end someone is without fruit that means they didn't let God lead them in the first place, because that's not where He leads.... Consider Paul who worked the hardest for Christ, not to earn salvation but because He was led by Christ.

what do you figure it means, then - one sin and that's it, chance blown?
or one sacrifice perfected forever everyone who is being made holy by Him?

if you don't trust Him, you don't believe Him.
I agree that there is a process of sanctification. Trust is something that I wrestle with at times. I don't think that's saying I don't believe him.

Job 13:15 is something I mentioned tonight at a gathering. It's one thing to trust the Lord through easy times. Sunshine patriot/summer soldier kind of deal. Quite another when every sense you have seems to declare the opposite.

^That type of trust is something I feel that is 100% necessary in today's world but it's one thing to say it and another thing to "live" it if you feel me.

That's great at least they care enough to tell people about God. I dont see many people doing it. And then being made fun of a well. I have felt this. So I commend them for their bravery, which comes through Jesus.
Don't let our OSASers make you feel like you are in some kind of minority cult. They are employing their divide and conquer technique on you. They only appear to be many because they live post their OSAS 24/7.
