Well when you think about it, the above would be a major portion of walking in the Spirit.

Walk humbly with thy God = walk in the Spirit.
I like that thought.

Micah 6:8 also seems to be encompassed by Jesus' teaching in Matthew 22...

22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
22:39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what [is] good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Mat 11:29 KJV Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Mat 5:5 KJV Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Mat 5:6 KJV Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Mat 5:7 KJV Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Wouldn't it be interesting if you could go back, rewind the video of the sermon on the mount and possibly hear many in the audience, nodding their heads at these verses or at Jesus' words at the time saying in their mind, ahhh yes Micah, But, in addition to that they said regarding Jesus words ar various times:

Joh 7:46 KJV The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

They were hearing the Word of God both in letter and in Spirit from "The Word of God" become flesh. Jn 1:1 Speaking life into the Laws of God, filled with the Holy Spirit without measure! Jn 3:34

The Israel that was addressed in Deuteronomy. There's no need to play semantic games. Just go and read and study the Torah.
Hi thanks for the reply .Just what should I study?

The father of lies... is the semantic king.

What God calls signified he desires men literalize taking away the unseen understanding of God .And when the bible speaks of the things seen. . . he spiritualizes and makes it source of his own as a lying wonder calling them sign gifts. He is the upside down, opposite god of this world.

I am not the one playing the game of flesh of a Jew against the flesh of a gentile which its seems you are. .

God assigns meaning to words as laws not subject to change. And forbids adding new meaning (Deu. 4) as a warning to those who would challenge the integrity of the author.

Israel is another name he named his bride the church as one who has wrestled with flesh and blood and has overcome because God is with them. All things in that way work to the good of those called whether they are called Israel (with Christ) or Christian (the bride with Christ) there is no difference.

A picture of the gospel . God wrestling with us in our flesh and Him the strong man overcomes as we receive our new name Christian a born again conversion.

Jacob (deceiver) used to represent unbelief.

The last new name he named the same bride is Christian. There is no need to make it about the corrupted flesh of mankind .Even Jesus said his flesh typified as sinful it profits for nothing. The gift is spiritual, a new spirit that will rise on the last day. If it worked in Jacob it can work in us.

Genesis 32:27-29 King James Version (KJV)And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
