Can I say that I appreciate your fellowship with me, but have enjoyed reading you even more as you fellowship with others? You have a knack of meeting ppl where they are.

I apologize if my words are too syrupy. I blame my Mama, lol. She taught me long ago, and it seems biblical to me, that thoughts are things...so be intentional on focusing on that which is praiseworthy. So by habit when I am well rested, fed, and not too hormonal, lol, I tend to notice and then tell folks what i appreciate about them. <explaining hoping you receive as sincerity rather than flattery. Oops long winded me is in the building, lol...doggoneit. in short, I notice you are a blessing to me and others, and I give God ALL the Glory. .

Thank you kindly sister GG! Lord bless you and keep you and yours, this day and going forward.
Cooled of nicely here, windows open, fans bringing in such nice cool air after several dangerously hot days. Need rain and we know He knows our every need.

May the rain come your way Shittim.
I have much work to get done........
only lately no matter WHAT gets done, b/c there is SO MUCH, I feel like NOTHING has been done. I mean looking around the house..... it LOOKS like nothing has been done. It's causing A LOT of strife in home/with family and is a BIG source of frustration for me. Becoming very discouraged with it.
Actually, if I didn't know the Lord, it would be pushing me into a depression........ it's trying to.

Just set the task to do each day and leave it at that GG. It always looks like nothing is coming together at first and then in no time you start to see it all come together. I would come and help you out if I didn't live on the other side of the world. ☺

Awesome Ruby, you can help and you have helped, I need that reminder too, "get something done every day"!
You have helped from the other side of the world. Thanks!

one of my favorite's "the door swings both ways!" I am alone so stuff backs up on me, on the other hand, what we do for the kingdom means more that what we do for the temporal life, what do you folks think of that?
Also Ruby, you spoke of Mike Popovich teachings changing from the earlier ones, sometimes churches change over time and lose members as the teaching sometimes gets "weird", a term I have heard locally about a church. God's ways are not our ways, and the adversary is constantly trying to take our focus from Jesus. Don't know if this applies to what you said, just came to mind as I was ruminating over your post.

Really liking this teaching this morning- he touches on dreams and how we begin as spiritual beings and the world tries to take it away, also touches on what we were speaking of about sickness just a few posts ago.

My Mama has been on my mind a lot (she is having some health problems) but you made me think of her again.

She always says just make sure you are always getting at least 3 things accomplished everyday and so much of life's struggles will just go away.

At times I think "if I were single this wouldn't be an issue and I could xyz........"
but then I look back and realize that when I was younger and single, it was an issue then too..... just manifested in different ways.
BUT.... and here's the biggy for me:
IF I were single & no kids then I WOULD NOT BE IN God's will for my life right now. THAT He has shown me more than once (OUCH!!!) (Usually in dreams during the night....)
My main ministry right now is here, in this home (which the Lord has given to us.... another story, another thread, another time)
And I'm failing at it....
I've been trying the 3 things a day idea, lol. They are
1)Laundry
2)clean kitchen
3) feed everyone
May be time to rearrange the system. #'s 2&3 can PROBABLY be combined.
Prioritizing is a biggy for me.......
hard to separate what the most important thing to do first would be......

Oh and by the way:
I love you guys!!!!! So thankful to have found ya'll!!

Well, can you delegate? How big are the kids, kids like to help and can grow from encouragement, I know in Amish families everybody has a job, even the tiny ones that you can plop on a stool in front of the sink.If we don't need to go down to the river and beat our clothes on the rocks, that is an option for the kids! ha!

(hmm.... forgot to hit "post" on this last night:unsure:)
I am fortunate that my kids want to do jobs (except it's when they want to and only select ones:LOL:, they actually FIGHT over certain jobs)
No, the ones that are being burdens are things beyond the kids capabilities (moving furniture, painting rooms, unpacking boxes). Those are the types of things right now, that have been heavy burdens for me.
