I am 63 and definitely not looking for a husband. But I was looking for a Senior Chat Room. Still trying to figure this site out, not even sure how I stumbled into this line about Seniors....LOL
There is no senior oriented area in either the forums or the chat rooms.

Nanabean, this is a first for me. After joining last night, I posted two messages and went to bed. This morning I found yours and would love to keep in touch. Don't really know how it all works yet.
Love the dog picture. Will try to send you a picture of my dog if I ever figure out how to do it.

Hi Sew, I'm sorry your not feeling so good. I know how that is. Myself I'm always tired. I had Fibromyalgia for years(thats horrible pain, tiredness, can't think right). The Lord healed me where the pain isn't as horrble. Thank God. But being so tired is still with me. Back trouble, broken shoulder, arm gives me trouble. Then the other arm was damaged in a reck and it messes with me. But I don't give up. I'm happy you had your family with you. My daughter and her family came yesterday. Brought pizza. My son inlaw wanted to play 10 thousand. Thats some dice game. I was too tired. I'm just glad to see them. They live in the same village as me. My son lives 2 hours away. He comes to visit all the time. He just got a divorce. Don't know if the Lord wants them back together or not. Happy to be going to church tommorrow. I hope you feel much better real soon. Gods blessing to you.

Welcome to cc,blessings to you!

Hello SewOld, nanbean, and loveschild!
What a blessing to read all your messages back and forth! I am disabled...going through something right now, they don't know what yet...so I am currently down in bed, but I WILL get better, this is just a dip right now. I sewed for fun, and family, and friends, and used to love doing variety of crafts. Last time I made something was maybe 6 months ago. I loved it, I know I will get back to it again! I have 4 grandkids, but all live so far away I rarely see them, but we keep in touch. My one son lives clear across the country from me in NY with his wife and 3 of my precious grandkids whom I adore! I have another son who lives in the same state as me, but far enough away I can't make it over there like I used to and they are both sooo busy and involved, and they have my other adorable grandchild whom I love dearly! I love being a grandma!!!!
I have firomyalgia and Sjogrens and severe migraines, and am right now on oxygen, and have been pretty much housebound for some months. I have a caregiver who comes three times a week, and now a lady who has connected with me from a church that comes to visit me once a week, what a blessing! I am desiring and praying for getting connected with people again, as I went through a long bout of depression after I lost my mom who lived with me, which made me isolate, but with counseling and the Lord, have, and am still making Great progress! I have come a long way.
I just got this computer from my sister and brother who live in other states, so all this is new to me. It is wonderful, I love it, and it is opening up a whole new world for me! What a wonderful blessing! Thank You Lord!!!
Anyone feel free to personal message me too! Love all of your spirits and stories! I am already a brand new member of CC, but found this when googling senior chat. God bless all of you! I just really love your spirits! :) :) :) Have a beautiful blessed day!

Welcome to cc,blessings!

hey guys
if you look at the top left of each post, it tells you when the post was originally made. This thread was started in 2009. Something to look at before responding to a thread.

Welcome to cc,blessings!

I figured that out right away, however I did get confused when I saw a "senior member" said something about being new to chat.....hmmmmm.
This member was probably a live chat peep and now is joining the forum peeps.

Try the other way around; a forum user finally joining into live chat. The only way to get the "Senior Member" user title is to have a given number of posts in the forums.

No I didnt! Thank you for this info. I rarely look at dated of threads.
One thing that helps is if the name is black (rather than blue) that means the user's account is no longer active.
But I saw you said hello to my old account name haha.

Nobody home. Please leave your name and number and... Wait, no, don't do that. You don't want to leave that on an internet forum. :p

You have awesome humour.
Keep spreading it around!
